"We decided to take a detour to escape traffic congestion and chose to have dinner in Celle. By chance we picked this restaurant because of its busy al fresco terrace. What a mistake. We ( a party of six) where seated inside, in a over decorated and over heated room.Service as bad, inefficient and incompetent as it gets, wine too hot, food (pizza and pasta) mediocre. We asked for a change in one ordered dish, the waitress acknowledged with disapproval. We asked for a cooler for a bootle of wine served far too hot, the waitress acknowledged with discontent. We asked to be served the dessert and coffee out door and the waitress couldn't have smiled less. The waitress complained she could not reach the table to serve our coffee,... An on and on. Someone like her should look for a job where she does not have to deal with people. Frankly. Stay away from that place."

We had the selection of three antipasti (Kaprese, Carpaccio and Vitello Tonnato) and it was excellent! So was the wine and service!

Poor Pizza and Pasta . There was a way too much cheese that really made this meal absolutely terrible....................................

A nice sunny and spring warm evening, seated outside to enjoy beer (from Bremen) and food. The beef was good, salat and ships too. Price level high but ok for quality food.

One of my favorite places to eat and people watch in Celle. Good food and great service. And you can't beat the people watching possibilities! I highly recommend it and go whenever I visit from the states.

Walking around Celle one evening I was attracted to eat at Santa Lucia because of the number of people eating outside. I had the garlic bread & then seafood pasta along with 2 glasses of wine for €20. Hard to beat that and didn't feel at all uncomfortable dining on my own. Nice relaxing atmosphere and probably the nicest garlic bread I've ever had, but really is more like a pizza without the cheese!

We have been to this pizzeria on a few occasions over a number of years. It is very conveniently located (main reason for our visits) on the main busy streets of Celle. Every time we visit everything is okay but nothing else. Nothing to complain about, but nothing to shout about. Always busy because of its location, all I say is there are better Pizzerias in Celle but you need to seek them out. If you do not, St Lucia will provide a good meal but special.

We discovered this place while walking through the pedestrian area of Celle and were more than pleasantly surprised by the food and service. So much so that in the five days we were in town we ate there at least three times. The Pizza is very good, and the carbonara is excellent (and even made correctly - very authentic). The garlic cheese bread and bruschetta are must tries for starters. The waitress went out of her way to be helpful and was very friendly.

"Recently I found myself in Celle again on a combined business/pleasure trip. Already having eaten at Schweine Schulze (see review there), this time we headed to Le Feu.Le Feu is situated in an old Fachwerkhaus, but that is not too unexpected as in Celle the old character and hauses have been preserved. That is until the socialist party got a majority in the city council and started to demolish old hauses. I think they were voted out before they could damage more than one street that is now an eyesore in Celle.Anyway, back to Le Feu. As the name already indicates there is a bit of a French influence, which translates itself to a lot of dishes with an Alsacian/Lorraine influence like the Elzasser Flammkuche/Tarte Flambée Alsacienne, or, in regular english: The Alsacian version of the Italian Pizza, but with a variety of toppings. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great. The owners/managers are welcoming and friendly just as the staff is. Service was prompt. Ordered several varieties of Flammkuche in sequenceI prefer the more traditional savory Flammkuche, with onions and bacon. My date had a mexican and a hawaiian. All tasted great. Though I am not really into beer, when in germany do as the germans so topped it off with some great german beer.Had a lovely evening. Bill was a pleasant surprise. Definitely good quality for your euro.Le Feu caters for people with several food allergies."
