"A nice and cozy pub with a great kitchen... But let's start from the start: one imagines that one is in a training course in the honorary office in Celle and the home pub located there has closed because the lease contract has expired... Where to sit with the participants of the course a little together and drink a cool beer? Google gave the answer. The photos looked good and after a short call we could come in there with 13 people at short notice. Super friendly service and a small but very good menu. We didn't have to thirst and the food was just as we had ordered it (Leber, well fried and not fried dead All participants were enthusiastic about the locality and I'll recommend this place with a calm conscience! Thanks for the nice evening"

It is always worth an experience, price performance is correct and the kitchen is a dream. But the best thing is that it is a family business and always gives me a pleasure to return. Ver carta

I would ignore the negative reviews. This place was a great value, cozy inside, very friendly and accommodating staff, and most importantly had great food. The green cabbage was prepared quite nice!

In our evening stroll through Celle, we 4 have arrived spontaneously. We were kindly greeted and got a nice place. The service was super nice. Drinks and food came fast. Unfortunately, my carving wasn't quite done. It was immediately fried and served shortly afterwards with a friendly apology. It all tasted very good. Price performance is very good.

The serving sizes are harty and large, and the food greasy but delicious. This is typical traditional german pub food. it has not been elevated, they have not deviated from the original recipes and if thats what youre looking for this is a pretty...good and afforable place to eat. The service is wonderfully bizarre (much like the owner) and will make for a good story afterwards. Ver carta

We intended to have a beer in some bar and ended up here, sharing table with a lovely local couple who shared their knowledge about the city with us. We decided, also encouraged by this couple, to stay here for lunch and ordered the home...speciality, some sort of cooked vegetables with both cooked and fried potatoes and a quite big pork sausage. It was really good actually and at a very fair price, we would go back anytime. The atmosphere is great and the owner will make you feel at home.

We were staying in the center of the town of Celle and decided to have some local beer and eat some good local German food. The ambiance inside this small restaurant is very nice, there are tables located throughout the restaurant with the center piece...being the large bar. We had the opportunity to taste the local beer of the region which was very good. For our dinner we had the local dishes of the town, which were freshly prepared and very tasty. The portions are quit large so be prepared to eat alot.

"Recently I found myself in Celle again on a combined business/pleasure trip. Already having eaten at Schweine Schulze (see review there), this time we headed to Le Feu.Le Feu is situated in an old Fachwerkhaus, but that is not too unexpected as in Celle the old character and hauses have been preserved. That is until the socialist party got a majority in the city council and started to demolish old hauses. I think they were voted out before they could damage more than one street that is now an eyesore in Celle.Anyway, back to Le Feu. As the name already indicates there is a bit of a French influence, which translates itself to a lot of dishes with an Alsacian/Lorraine influence like the Elzasser Flammkuche/Tarte Flambée Alsacienne, or, in regular english: The Alsacian version of the Italian Pizza, but with a variety of toppings. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great. The owners/managers are welcoming and friendly just as the staff is. Service was prompt. Ordered several varieties of Flammkuche in sequenceI prefer the more traditional savory Flammkuche, with onions and bacon. My date had a mexican and a hawaiian. All tasted great. Though I am not really into beer, when in germany do as the germans so topped it off with some great german beer.Had a lovely evening. Bill was a pleasant surprise. Definitely good quality for your euro.Le Feu caters for people with several food allergies."
