I've had fantastic food and excellent service every time I've visited. It's unfortunate that it's closing, but Stewarts in Loanhead is just a short distance away.

The hand-cut chips were very disappointing; they tasted like frozen oven chips. The three mushrooms billed as Portobello were anything but. Also, there was no fish platter or linguine available, so I ended up choosing the overpriced steak instead.

Went for the first time yesterday with a friend, and from the moment I walked in, the lovely Emma made us feel so welcome...we chose chile white wine, definitely a winner and reasonable priced, we then chose a selection of starters and sides... Food was delicious, hot and so so tasty... Emma looked after us , and this definitely made our afternoon ...will be back...x

Unfortunately, we waited a long time for our drinks and food orders. In total, it took two hours just for the starters to be served, followed by an additional half hour for the mains. We had to return two main dishes for corrections: one steak was cold, and a ribeye came out frozen with a vinegar sauce instead of the Diane sauce we ordered. My mother's salad with beef had burnt pieces and consisted of only three pieces of beef. My grandmother ordered fish, expecting a small portion, but it arrived as a whole fish.
