Adoring garden centre Beautiful flowers shrubs trees etc has a wonderful cafe with seating indoor outdoors staff are very helpful and polite. Well worth a visit and pas a couple of hours.

Ridiculously overpriced food for the quality, despite going to restaurant when store opened on Sunday. Bacon (thick fat attached) and greasy, thank goodness for the over baked bread bun it came in. They really need to look into this. Long queues and very noisy.

Went for quick coffee and scones. Long wait for coffee batista to serve people. Place was busy, though still tables available. Was concerned that dogs were allowed in the restaurant, that were not guide or assistance dogs? They were controlled but felt strange. Ver carta

Poor , By the time you are served at your meal at the table the tea coffee you poured earlier will be stone cold , absolutely slow service. Don't go for the Croque Monseiur , they don't know how to do it correctly. Save your money and go to a professional restaurant.

Visited today my husband had a breakfast said it was quite nice I had a a tea and a cherry scone it was a large scone I counted 1 and a half cherries I took it back but they replaced it with a scone with the similar amount of cherries Must be a shortage of cherries in Teesside! £2.80 won’t be going again

Have been visiting the cafe for years and mostly had a good experience. However, today we were told that our little dog is not allowed on a chair even though she's always on a cover and we carry a spray to use when we leave. I have to say this cafe restaurant is NOT DOG FRIENDLY. They tolerate dogs on the floor and that's all. The way we were told was really quite rude. Sorry to say but we can't visit again with our dog. ...What can I say that is good ..ordered fish and chips with garden peas ..clearly stated in response to question... slow checkout as lady also had to make coffees ....after 15 mins came with mushy peas ...another 15 mins wait .....smallest piece of fish i have had in years for £13.99. ....looked like the kids portion....then checked and we had been overcharged . ..their web Menu said £13.50. The small piece of fish was ok and the chips were hot ..but will not be going again and couldn't recommend it

Long queues, poor signage and stale customer service. Poor signage around the canteen area which fail to display prices clearly. Half of the food offerings where unavailable. Staff were unhelpful in providing alternative suggestions. Slow queues to get beverages with cold service from staff. 3 portions of chips, two festive rolls and a Blt with three lattes £46… Overpriced, low quality and long wait. There are much better offerings for garden centres bistros with superior meals in the local area. Highly recommend strikes in stokesly.

The garden centre itself is lovely. But I met a friend for lunch in the cafe, which wasn't! The food was poor quality and significantly overpriced. The poor elderly man ahead of me wanted chips not mash with his sausages. He was repeatedly told this was not possible as the meal came with mash. Despite his request then protestations, he was still not allowed chips. He pointed to the picture of sausage and chips and was told it was for advertising only. The food was portioned out in dishes about the size of 1.5 average android phones. This meant 3 sausages (in gravy), which they tip on the plate and add veg later. So this was wasted as the man refused it. The main small dishes were £10.95. See... Ver carta
