"We went to this restaurant as a group of four and tried a variety of starters and main courses, all of which were excellent. Some of us also enjoyed desserts, with the bread and butter pudding standing out as a fantastic choice. The value for the quality of food and service was great, and overall, it is a place that should not be missed. The dinner was priced around £40-50 per person, with the food and service both receiving a rating of 5, and the atmosphere a 4. Recommended dishes include the White Chocolate and Raspberry Roulade, Slow Roasted Pork, and Chocolate Fudge Cake."

"Five star service is not exactly what you expect when you enter the Cheese Yard Restaurant but it's very true, it is a very casual place and very homely, it's not a pub more of an upmarket Café although it's off down a country lane that leads to nowhere apart from nice countryside walks and a amazing view of the Glastonbury Tor. It's definitely a hidden gem and the food on offer is like your Mum makes, really crispy potatoes or chips and generous portions, perfect place to meet family and friends for Breakfast, Lunch or Afternoon Tea with a choice of Amazing cakes. Did l mention Dog Friendly too and l mean so much fuss was made of my 2 Puggies they felt like celebraties.Can't wait to return."

"several vegetarian options, but almost nothing vegan (only one dessert and two appetizers when my spirit serves me well.) "We spent 2 nights at the inn with friends. What a wonderful time we had, all the staff were fabulous. All were very friendly and very attentive especially Richard. The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed. We will definitely be making a return visit. Food drinks: We had breakfast, lunch and evening meals. Everything we ordered was excellent, could not find fault with the service or the quality of the food. Also very well presented."

"This place was such a good find! My friend and I go away at this time of the year to explore various gardens and we picked to stay here as it was close to Wells. Having stayed in Wells once before, I remembered that the parking wasn't very easy so we decided to stay a short distance outside. Our hosts, Peter and Veryan, were the best I have ever come across in an establishment of this sort. They and their staff were so personable and did everything they could to make our stay so comfortable. Veryan was the breakfast chef and everything was cooked fresh to order and Olly was the restaurant chef. His guinea fowl risotto we had one night was out of this world (and we were keen to tell him so). A special mention should also go to Janey who was on hand every breakfast time. The pub also served as a small village shop and a drop off point for Evri parcels, all of which made it the hub of the community. Villagers would call in for their daily paper or milk and would stop for a coffee or even breakfast. I have never seen anythng quite like it so impressive. The place and the weather really have made this a memorable holiday for us! Thank you."
