I was here last night with a companion for lunch. I was interested in what they offer as most South Asian restaurants I find here in berlin are. .

nice little restaurant at the prenzlauer mountain. eating was good and amazingly cheap. the menu offers many different foods from sri lanka and india.

so far berlin has disappointed me when it comes to South Asian food, but this in Causes was definitely above average. had the lamb red and enjoyed the taste and the spice I would call a mild. . Ver carta

So far Berlin has disappointed me when it comes to southern Asian foods, but this in terms of food was definitely above average. Had the lamb roti and very much enjoyed the flavour and the level of spice, which I would consider to be mild....I would consider coming here again and trying something else on the menu.

Stopped on my way home on what looked like an interesting restaurant. Ordered a duo of chicken and lentil curry. While the taste was ok,, both looked like soup, The chicken curry containing totally overcooked pieces of chicken breast. On the menu it stated l,...served with poppadoms. Two very small broken up pieces on a very tired salad. Prices are very reasonable. but I would not mind paying a couple of Euros more for a decent quality and quantity. Think I will give it a miss next time.

I love the Prenzlaur berg district of Berlin as it always throw's up some amazing pub's, bar's and restaurant's and what a great find this restaurant was for us.We were here on a roasting hot Wednesday night were we sat outside and a very pleasant member of staff took our order of a drink each while we studied the menu. We opted to begin with samosas to start off with ,this was delicious and set us up for our main course of spicy lentil curry,this was a truely lip smacking meal and really spicy and was just so tasty, i think sometimes you struggle to get a really spicy neal in Berlin but in Suriya kanthi restaurant you are treated to proper spicy meal's and at great price's.
