"Was taken to Mr Hai by a friend who raved about the place. It was pretty full, which is usually a good sign, and I was hopeful about a great dinner, having read the reviews here. Sadly it was a giant let down. To start...with, the restaurant lacked any sort of atmosphere, and the staff seemed miserable and were inattentive. In terms of value for money, there is none: it is unbelievably overpriced. We had a water each and plates from the belt between us and the bill came to euro. For that, the food is average at best. Avoid this restaurant if you are a fan of Japanese cuisine – the food served here is Japanese only in homeopathic doses. Every dish is liberally doused in mayo or sauce, making it difficult to identify any of the ingredients and making every plate taste virtually the same. Everything seemed limp, overcooked (yes, overcooked sushi – imagine and tired. No crispness, no fine flavours, no brightness. If you want sushi or Japanese flavours, there can't be a restaurant in Berlin that will disappoint more. That said, the restaurant makes no claims to authenticity. Most disconcerting, we were seated at the corner of the belt, just opposite the door and right in front of the kitchen sink. At one point, one of the cooks washed his hands, spraying me, the food in front of me and presumably the plates circulating between us with water. He didn't even notice. This is a restaurant that just doesn't live up to the hype. It's like it's made a name for itself and now it just can't be bothered. Inexplicably, it still seems to have its fans"

was the first sushi restaurant to visit with our children and they were brightly excited! I already had a chance to eat in japan sushi and can say that it belongs to the good-very good outside japans. tipp: you can be prepared at any time something extra if it is not found on the conveyor belt.

we have traveled through berlin for 4 days and among the many mainly oriental cuisines we have also arrived here after we visited the museum of history berlins, very nice with the preparation on itself, the dishes flow and they can take what they want, I would have eaten them all but at the end we have stayed back because the price was clear, very false price, very honest and very honest.

As any other good sushi bar in Europe, this has ridiculously high prices for normal sets, but quality has a price after all. No English menu included, thus I recommend to come with a German friend, or with someone who knows Japanese fish names. The...bar offers tables outside as well, but the service is very bad. for a bottle of still water is a robbery, and beware of apocalyptic bees outside, willing to eat your fish as it reaches your table. If you don't mind it all then it's a good sushi bar for the rest

We’ve been there with our kids for dinner. You can either sit inside, but as we had a nice sunny day, we decided to sit outside. Kids were not really into Japanese food that day so it was just the adults trying it. Instead of going for Suhsi, Sashimi and the like, we had the Dance the Dragon, Magic Mountain, Lion King, Tataki from Tuna-fish and the Fusion Salmon. Although it’s a Japanese restaurant run by group of Vietnamese, in summary: good food creations, friendly staff, reasonable priced and recommendable
