"To celebrate my friend's birthday, we decided to go to Sweet Rose Cakery. I made a reservation in advance for the vegan cream tea, which is a must for vegan options. The meal was excellent! I was able to enjoy a variety of sandwich choices like vegan cheese, hummus, salad, chutney, as well as delicious jam, vegan scones, cakes, and more. My friends were so impressed that they were more interested in my meal than their own! The restaurant also offers vegan milk and a wide selection of herbal teas. It is conveniently located near Upminster station, making it easy to access. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, but be sure to book ahead as it can get crowded on weekends."

This is a perfect place for tea, coffer and light lunch. Excellent service, lovely ambience, tasty food and lovely hosts. Would highly recommend.

Our team of firefighters responded to an incident across from the restaurant. We tried 5 drinks and 5 cakes, and the staff went out of their way to take care of us. It's rare to receive such excellent service, but we would definitely return. The coffee and cakes were delicious as well!

We went to Sweet Rosé for breakfast and were impressed by the extremely polite and friendly staff. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals and we would definitely recommend a visit. We are excited to come back and try the afternoon tea.

My friend and I came to this restaurant for lunch and we ordered houmous and stuffed jacket potatoes with pepper. The food was delicious and they offered vegan spread for the potatoes and dairy-free milk for hot drinks. While the menu wasn't very extensive, they do offer a vegan afternoon tea if reserved in advance.

This was my 3rd trip and 1st since finding out my dietary needs, we came for my mums birthday and had afternoon tea. I'm gluten and dairy intolerance but that didn't mean I went without. Julie made me the most delicious fluffy cakes. Serves was quick and food incredible. If like me you're a difficult eater you can't beat sweet rose for your special occasions or just a quick bite.

We had a wonderful afternoon tea for Wendy's birthday at the restaurant. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making sure we had a pleasant experience. The food was delicious, with tasty cakes and scones. We enjoyed pots of tea and coffee, and even took home some leftover cakes. The sandwiches were also very nice. Thank you for making Wendy's birthday celebration special for our group of 20 people.

Their chocolate brownies are amazing I get them all the time I didn’t want a traditional cake for my birthday so I asked if they could make a chocolate brownie cake for me and it turned out amazing I had so many people at my party compliment the brownies and ask where they came from, I also got some sandwich and wrap platters made by them which disappeared very quickly and also got the same compliments and asked where they were from. They do an amazing job.

I asked Julie if she could put together a brunch platter for my son’s 21st birthday, I sent her a photo of what we would like. The brunch platter was amazing, Julie had included all of the food we’d asked for, with a few extra touches thrown in! My son and all the family was over the moon with it. It was really fresh, fed us (and our guests) all day, and we even had a bit for breakfast the next day. Julie put it together without much notice, can’t thank her enough!

Sweet Rose Cakery made an outstanding wedding cake for my husband and I. It was big enough to feed 100 guests at our reception, it looked exactly like the picture I showed them of what I wanted, and it tasted phenomenal! Not only that, they were a pleasure to deal with, it was about half the price of any other wedding cake baker I got quotes from, and they delivered it fully assembled on the morning of the wedding! Really couldn't have asked for more, all our guests were commenting on what a great cake it was.
