After reading all those fabulous reviews, we set off to have an early dinner at the Sybiose. Sad to say, but the the food was mere average, tasted okay, but no highlights. Very nice staff didn't change our impression sorry : Our first and...last visit.

Just returned. The food was really good best vegan burger I have had anywhere. The drink was great I had a very nice unfiltered beer and the house red was too good for a house wine. And the host chatted to us about...food, politcis, history, linguistics ... Plus it was a direct tram ride from our hotel on Augustusplatz.

Fresh and creative vegan food. We had a spicy lentil nut loaf dish served with a creamy mushroom sauce that we devoured and my wife loved the spinach, mushroom and sweet potato strudel -so much so that she didn't share with me. The owner was...incredibly helpful--he translated the German menu into English for us and even drove me to the ATM as I couldn't use my visa. I always feel more comfortable knowing that I’m at a restaurant that is vegan, and Symbiose has the added advantage of being organic too. I visited on a Sunday so was treated to the buffet brunch which included a range of salads, falafels,...homemade hummus and sauces, couscous etc... as well as pancakes and cakes. The food was fresh and super good and the atmosphere and staff were refreshing. Definitely recommend to vegans and non-vegans alike!

The restaurant is bright and comfortable, if you choose to sit outside you will find yourself on a busy street with lots of opportunity for people watching. The staff were very friendly and while the service is a little bit slow, I think the food...is the more important part of the experience. I went for the curry which was very nicely spiced, but not hot. It used lots of fresh vegetables and I was pleased to enjoy something vegan-by-design rather than a replica of a meat dish with a soya substitute. I think this is where this restaurant stands out and a lot of the dishes being served around me seemed fresh and colourful. Most people seemed to be opting for the burger, I feel I missed out on...

I spent only one night in Leipzig. I tried this restaurants because it was among the best in Trip Advisor. After trying their warm Lassi with mango and cinnamon I immediately understood why the reviews are so good! They just have a few main dishes...and a few more apetizers, but each dish is their own creation like a piece of art. I accepted the recommendations of the waitress; empanadas filled with mushrooms and white beans together with potato wedges and a joghurt dip. As dessert, an orange-chocolate mousse with frest mint... both impressively tasty and authentic! I found the description of the main dishes not very inviting, because a filling of beans seemed too dry to me, but the truth is... Ver carta
