Had a takeaway vegetable curry chips popadom and sauce takeaway Thursday.Again it was lovely worth the drive. We are loving the food can’t wait for you to reopen to come with family and friends

Staying nearby and called in on our way home from a day out on our last day. What a mistake, wish we had done it sooner!! Warm welcome from all, also welcomed dogs with open arms. Food was fantastic, truly a little gem!!

Come down on holiday looking for somewhere to eat found this place we were made to feel very welcome hospitality was outstanding they went out of there way to serve us we would highly recommend a visit here we will definitely go again Ver carta

Best fish and chips and had the take away vegetarian lasagne, fab and compliments to the chef , she is truly dedicated and very friendly and the staff. If you appreciate good food you must give this place a try. Wine is fab and be seeing you soon thankyou.

On holiday locally. Had three evening meals 1 Saturday, Thursday and Friday. Home cooked food by landlady on these evenings. Well prepared not mass microwave stuff Gave advance notice lovely whole lobster. Steak home made pie to die for. Wholly recommend it. David and Joy [Nottingham]

Found this great place on our travels, the friendly welcoming staff were a delight have a highly knowledgeable insights of the local area. Off the beaten track (but not to far) 15 mins from Newquay... For value for money I highly recommend a visit! With live music most Friday’s, traditional pub meals to top off a cafe serving breakfast till 2pm next door. Best value in the area! Bravo! Ver carta

Lovely pub with extremely tentative and accommodating propietors. My dad has dementia and they couldn't have been more helpful and nicer to him. We were strangers here on our first visit but they treated us like their favourite customers. They treat all their customers like that. The food was amazing and generous! Can't fault this traditional Welsh pub. We would visit regularly if we were more local to the area.

only moved to Wales a few months ago and we have been trying different eateries and this we must say does gorgeous breakfasts so will return for more for sure. Sarah Tim set up the cafe and boy what a good decision that was. Great food, great value and lovely people. Don't expect to have swanky decor but what you have got is spotlessly clean, 5* hygiene certificate and really good quality produce. Worth a visit as this is one nicest breakfasts we have had :

Booked for a meal with myself a fussy vegetarian and a meat eater . The landlady designed the menus around my awkwardness . A lovely bean soup . I asked for the sausage and mash veggie which was lovely . My partner enjoyed his pizza which he choice all the toppings for . Chunky homemade chips were a must even though not needed . Large choices of drinks and staff helpful and welcoming . Would highly recommend a visit . A great hidden gem will be returning soon . Ver carta
