Been for dinner walking distance from Crowne Plaza Hotel Hannover. Starter Soup very ordinary bland. However main course Channa Masala was Good so was crispy fresh tandori roti Gulab Jamun for desert was not bad. Overall a decent experience but...very pricey.

We went there seeing good rating on Tripadvisor. But saw the place was totally mismanaged. Wrong items were served on the table after a long wait. Food was cold and so was the service. The owner is very arrogant and was not even willing to...call Taxi. Not Worth a visit and totally avoidable ! Ver carta

I visited Taj for dinner during a week day. I had the Taj special vegetarian curry and roti. Both were average. In fact, the roti appeared to have been reheated. To be fair: 1. The restaurant offered me another freshly made roti, which I declined....2. They didn’t charge for the roti which I had consumed.

Very good service from the efficient knowledgeable staff. Fast drink and appetizer orders. Sat outside and not sure I would recommend that due to the small black flies swarming around. Appetizers were also delicious and varied. Chicken tikka masala was good but a different flavour...than I am used to. Still tasty though.

After a long wait, nearly two hours later, our order was wrong and accompaniments were delivered after meal was nearly finished. Owner and staff were very rude and they tried to over charge us for items not ordered. So disorganized and they should have turned...people away and concentrated on the patronage already seated. I made a reservation beforehand and was able to get a table for dinner. It was quiet. i had Chcken Tikka Masala and some roti. Both were tasty. Food came out in a reasonable time; recommendations are recommended for Friday and Saturday and optional on...the other days. Ambience was nice as well. I had lots of space and the menu had many choices. Would probably come back again but not on Friday or Satuday as they tend to be busy. Prices were reasonable.

When we first walked in, I thought it was odd the host asked us of we had reservations when the entire restaurant was empty. But he explained he didn't want us to feel rushed so he was checking to see what tables were free. Our...host was very friendly, asking us were we from and engaging in conversation. He recommended a light Indian beer, while we decided what we wanted to eat. We ended up getting chana masala, butter chicken, half plain rice and half vegetable rice (which were such generous helpings these didn't seem like half dishes) and topped it off with naan. Chaos, two little personnel, high prices and paying for extra things you 've never ordered: that 's what you must expect from this restaurant. Prices are very high and the portions are very small (i.e. a portion of lamb fillet consisted in 4 extra small dices of...lamb, in a small bowl and costed around 23€ . Food arrives cold. We had a few entrees and 2 main courses to share. Everything arrived after a very long wait and was already cold. The restaurant is quite big and during trade shows period it gets very crowded, so the 4 waiters couldn 't manage so many people.Be prepared to wait for ages for your food and drinks to arrive.
