"When this restaurant opened it was really good food. I’ve ordered twice in the past couple of weeks and unfortunately both times weren’t what it used to be. Both times I ordered through the website and both times it arrived late. The food was also just about warm which is not really acceptable considering we’re less than 0.5 miles away. The disappointment with certain dishes a couple of weeks ago had the opposite issues this time (eg. The onion bhajis were a bit undercooked and lacking structure last time, this time they’re hard to cut because they’re overdone). It’s disappointing and we all agreed it’s not the same anymore unfortunately. Staff and delivery drivers have always been pleasant and friendly. We won’t be rushing back until it improves, which is a shame."

As visitors to the area, we always do a little research on eateries and Tamarind Bay restaurant had some good comments. We gave it a try and were pleased we had, the food we ordered was very nice. Used to love the delivery from them. But this year the service has declined. When ordering from the app it’s always 1 hour later than what the app says it will be. The quality of the food has also decreased unfortunately. It’s heartbreaking to be honest to leave this review because we have been eating from them for 5 years but I’m tired of feeling like a waste of money when it’s supposed to be a treat for me and my family. Vegetarian options: Great variety but perhaps better to eat in than to order a delivery

Ordered via their website, 1hr 15min wait, wrong food delivered, after lots of phone calls (and time) finally got through to be told its 10 minutes away, wait another 30 minutes, call again and finally arrived 25 minutes afterwards. 3 hours total after ordering! Food was not up to usual standards. We have used tamarind bay for 6+ years with no problems. judging by recent reviews things have gone massively down hill regarding service and quality. We really want to give them another chance in the future but dont want to waste my money and time.
