While the exterior of the restaurant is pretty run down , inside you’ll find good Thai cuisine … lots of choice .. an excellent red curry and efficient service although male staff could risk a smile now and then ! ….

The lunch time deal is good value but very limited. The soup was lovely the Currey was very good but the salad was bland. It was quite off putting with the staff all wearing masks still in Nov 2022. We happened upon the restaurant on a drive down to Kent. We won't Ben going back.

Everything lacks flavour or is deep fried. Beef massoman arrived with potatoes preciously frozen and had broken down and it had whole pickled onions in it rather than the described shallots. Never again. It is cheap cheap ingredients and it was the worst Thai food I have ever tasted. Ver carta

The food is always fantastic and the service good, always polite and friendly. We moved to the area 7 years ago, found Tammy's Thai about three years ago and are now regular customers. Friends who we have taken always want us to take them back. I think the best Restaurant in thesse parts. Highly recommended

Superb outing, 25 of us visited Tammy’s Thai for lunch today, it was absolutely brilliant. We had pre ordered chosen from the two course set lunchtime menu. Everyone thought the food was delicious, tasty, authentic, very nicely presented with polite and courteous staff. Thank you so much for making us so welcome, we will be back.

You could ask for no more the service was fantastic as was the atmosphere. The menue had a good range and the staff were good with their advice. All the food was 100% my only negative was the cost of the wine. I will be using this place more often for an evening out and take aways. A lovely setting for couples too. Stopped in on the off chance for dinner but the restaurant was full. The service from initial contact was warm and welcoming, so we decided to get a take away and so glad we did. They gave us complimentary prawn crackers while we waited for our food and even though it was a 20 min drive home, everything was still fresh and hot. It turned one to be one of the best Thai foods we’ve had in a long time. Will definitely be making a booking next time!

We have always enjoyed the lunch-time menu (now £13.95, not £11.50 as per their website), but haven't been for a while. For whatever reason, they have decided to change the way they serve the sticky rice and it was not good. It arrived at the table in a bamboo container (quite attractive), but once the lid came off, the rice was a stodgy, heavy mass of rice in a plasic bag! You could describe it as sticky, but so sticky it landed on the plate in the shape it was in in the bag and didn't move! Such a shame that they have decided to change to this way of cooking/serving it as the staff and service was, as usual, friendly and efficient. Booked a table for 4 never been before, I know few people who have been several times not sure why. I think it lacks service not particularly friendly waiters only smiled when I did. I felt like they could have made more of an effort, we told them it was our first time and only had Thai once before. They were not interested in talking about the menu maybe because they didn’t understand or couldn’t hear as did notice one waiter had a hearing aid. Also they were all elderly and didn’t look Like they really wanted to be there. The decor was awful Christmas lights and various old fashioned pieces around the restaurant rather off putting.
