Tandoori Mahal - Carta

My friends and I visited this restaurant for the first time and I highly recommend it for its fast service. The young waiter was very polite and our meal was quickly served.

After an hour and half wait and three phone calls later my order finally arrived cold!! The chicken rogan was very watery with only five small pieces of chicken and two tomatoe slices in the dish. Will not be ordering from here again as no apology was given or an excuse to why wait was so long, I was told on the three occasions I rang that the food was on its way and would only be 10 mins.

Decided to have a pre New Year curry, haven't been here for some time so decided to pay a visit and was well worth it, extremely good value plus you can now take your own wine if you want to for a small corkage fee which would make the evening even cheaper. Good tasty food served hot, great customer service, would definitely recommend and will make sire we don't leave it so long before our next visit. Ver carta

I visited this restaurant on a Friday night because I wanted a quick meal within walking distance. I had ordered takeout from here before, which was okay but nothing exceptional (I'm not a big fan of Indian takeout). We were the only ones dining in, but they were busy with orders from Deliveroo and takeout. The food was delicious and the service was friendly. The prices were very reasonable compared to other Indian restaurants in Wimbledon.

I have been ordering from this restaurant for 12 years, but today was a complete disaster! When I called to place my order, they seemed confused and even offered a callback, which was unhelpful. It took 1 hour and 20 minutes for my food to arrive, and they overcharged me by £3.30 on top of the menu price. The service was terrible and there was no discount offered, despite my loyalty over the years. Avoid ordering from this place at all costs!

I have been a customer of T Mahal for about 30 years. Unfortunately, I have noticed a decline in the quality of their food over the years. I ordered takeout on New Year's Eve and had to throw away most of the food because it was too salty. I decided to give them another chance a few weeks ago, but once again, the food was overly salty and the gravy was thickened with a heavy dose of sugar. I placed an online order at The Mahal and received a 10% discount. The ordering process was simple and the meal was delivered quickly. I was very impressed with the quality of the food, which arrived well-packaged and hot. I enjoyed the delicious Onion Bhajees, tasty chicken Korma, Bombay Aloo, Pilau rice, and Naan. The restaurant also included Popadoms and onion salad. I will definitely be ordering from The Mahal again. I give it a perfect 10 out of 10 rating.

I visited this restaurant on 7th Aug with my family. I used my tastecard for a discount but this did not deter the staff from providing a good service. They were very attentive and the food was the best curry I have had in a long time. I had the chicken biriani which was so full of flavour. The others in the party had the Rogan Josh, tikka masala and madras as well as side dishes. We all enjoyed the meal and would highly revommend. We will return or use the takeaway service that they offer.

We were a party of 10 and were recommended this restaurant and with some trepidation we went. What a surprise, it’s not a bad restaurant, fairly modern and the staff were friendly enough, Now to the food. For £10, yes £10 you get a starter, a main, a veggie side dish, a Naan (of your choice) and a rice. All for £10.. Ok, what did it taste like? In a word, good. I had the Shami kebab, the salad as fresh and the kebab was nice and spicy. My main was a Chicken and Sag Balti, extra hot, Garlic Rice and Keema Naan, no arguments there. Beer was a reasonable price.. Well done.. £10 well spent.. Ver carta
