"This restsurant is in a pretty much derelict shopping centre only a few shops remain. We wasn't expecting it to be busy and fair to say it wasn't crowded. Order your food at the till and quote table number and the servers will bring it...all to you. Kids meals are which is good value, the curry of the day was Chicken Korma that happened to be my favourite so ordered that at The wait was less than mins, we was served by happy staff. I had to mention to our server about beans that was missed off my kids meals but it had been remembered and a massive bowl of beans was brought out to us with an apology. There was a new chef who was getting used to the menu. The lunch was enjoyed by all of my kids and empty plates too. Had a great lunch and will return"

Amazing, came in with my partner on the and the waiter was so polite and friendly! He also made the best hot chocolate ever!!! the jacket potato cheese and beans was AMAZING!! Will definitely be coming back!!

Relaxed atmosphere, extensive menu at reasonable prices, friendly hosts. Great coffee options including white chocolate mocha , the spiced pumpkin latte a Halloween week special is the very best syrup coffee you will find anywhere.

Music on very loud during my visit. I mentioned this to a staff member when being served. No action taken taken to turn down the music. At the time I was the only customer in Tate, so there was no reason for a customer to...be ignored.

We had lunch here prices were amazing food was amazing. We were made to feel very welcome by lovely friendly staff. You can sit outside or in. We had ham egg and chips. The chips were beautiful and crispy ham was good quality egg was...done perfectly. We got a free cup of tea with our meal.

It was a Saturday afternoon and cafe was busy which doesn't surprise me. Managed to get a seat, ordered food and drink at the bar. Didn't wait too long for food when it arrived it was nicely presented and tasted great. My kids loved their...milkshakes and said it was the best they have ever tasted. Staff friendly with great atmosphere. Will be returning when next in Exeter

Taste is a lovely place to visit for food and drink. It is situated in a shopping centre where other shops have closed/moved as area is being developed. Taste is staying and im glad to hear it, this is the go to place whenever we...are in the City. Staff are lovely and you never wait long for food, this cafe is clean and food is great and presented well. I came here with my daughter and her friend, we ordered x bottled water, milkshake, toastie and x cheesy chips all came in at less than which is a bargain. A big thumbs up from me

Visited as a quick stop, as it's five minutes away from where I live. Had a coffee which didn't taste of much, my partner had a tea, and we each ordered a toastie. The toasties were decent though the salad dressing was a little...overwhelming. Not great customer service overheard a staff member swearing about a customer, and our server forgot our cutlery and how to make eye contact with us. It was just fine not remarkable, but not really that bad. Will probably return on the merit of the food, but hopefully the staff will be a little happier and more switched on
