delicious Mediterranean food. the amount is good, not too filing and everything was well seasoned. small, rocky place from the beaten away from the octoberfest. it was calm and away from the masses.

we had a great meal for our family of 4. we tried everything mixed grill, lambs, salmon, gyros. everything was delicious! the restaurant location has recently changed its name in edesma, which means delicious. that was it!

later attempts to find somewhere open for a meal and stumbled over taverna hellas. it had few patrons so that the waiter provided us with a very uncomfortable service and attention. the food was edible and surely satisfied the hungry bags that roared in empty slumbers.

Staying at the Sheraton, we just went out close by to find a place to eat and found this restaurant. We really enjoyed it food, service, hospitality, all ingredients for a nice evening out were present. No surprise therefore that we went back a...second time during the Five days we spent at Munich.

On our last night in Munich we found this lovely Greek Taverna/restaurant close to our hotel (Hotel Bavaria). From the moment we walked in the service from our waitress was wonderful. She helped translate the menu and specials, and took the time to ensure we...ordered wine that we would enjoy. We chose dishes that she recommended and everything was really good. Unexpected extras throughout the evening were a lovely touch, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and time at Taverna Hellas. Thanks

Was looking for a place for dinner near our hotel, Sheraton Westpark and to get out of the cold when we came across Hellas. It was packed and we were lucky there was just one last table to fit the 5 of us. I ordered...the pork stewed with wine sauce and it was superb. My friend had the Gyros (bbq pork) and it was just as good. The service was good and the staff (looked like it was family run) checked in on us constantly. We were also given a complimentary shot of vodka at the end of the meal.

Like a few I was staying at the Sheraton and stumbled across it. So much better than returning to the city. Sat on the street under the awnings cafe style. Very pleasant and it is clearly popular with the locals, which I immediately took to...be a godd sign. The waitress spoke English and could not have been more helpful. She told us we did not need 2 of the mixed platter starters the portions were big and one would suffice. Very honest and correct too. Food was fabulous. All four of us were delighted. Taste was amazing and portion size very generous. And the end bill was embarassingly low. If I lived locally I would become a regular. Tremendous and thanks to the staff

Like other reviewers, we too found this near the Sheraton where we were staying. Popped into Al Paladino and were promptly brushed away as we didn't have a reservation. We knew that this outcome was likely to occur according to the other reviewers, so were...not really surprised. Went around the corner to the Taverna Helles and were given 90 minutes to have our meal and depart due to prior reservations!! We told them that this wouldn't be an issue. We were given a little salad as an entrée and both found this refreshing, even in December! The waiter recommended a lamb dish for my wife which she ordered and I ordered basically a mixed grill. we went to hellas restaurant (now renamed edesma) for dinner based on previous TA reviews. it is located in a quiet neighbourhood, serving wonderful Greek cuisine and is not particularly touristic. we were welcomed every time. all sat outside, but people smoke, and when we asked if we could sit in the house to avoid smoking, they said no problem. so we had a pleasant, relaxing time to hear Greek music. the food was first-class. our main dishes contain an salad with really freshly tasting ingredients. service was attentive and friendly. I chose the exoxhiko for the first time that we have dined here and it was amazing. it is a lamb dish in many of them in pergament paper with fresh vegetables...
