"Vegan Review: On Saturday, I visited the Marriott with a group of friends and we stopped at this café after a pampering session on both Saturday and Sunday. I didn't see many vegan options on the menu initially. When I asked the staff if the honey roasted squash could be removed from the superfood salad to make it vegan, I was told it wasn't possible as it was already prepared. The staff did offer to make herbal fajitas, but I opted for a millionaire cake instead. I was pleasantly surprised when the staff gave me two cakes for the price of one and they were delicious. The next day, I inquired about the granola with alternative milk options, which included almond, soy, and coconut milk. I chose soy milk and enjoyed it with dairy-free yogurt. It was a delightful and flavorful choice. I also ordered avocado toast and had previously asked about vegan butter, although they hadn't checked. However, after I finished eating, the staff brought vegan butter from another restaurant, which I thought was great customer service. While talking to the staff, I mentioned how wonderful the millionaire cakes were from the previous day and they kindly brought over two more, complimentary. It was a lovely gesture that added to the overall experience."

Always love having coffee and some lunch here. Nice chilled atmosphere. Large TVs usually showing sport but descretely in the background. Super staff and reasonably priced.

The staff is very friendly, and they offer free internet access. I recommend trying the club sandwich or one of the many breakfast options. They also have the football games playing on TV.

Last week, I purchased a large cappuccino, large Pepsi, and two cookies for my son and me, which came to around £8.50. This week, I got us a small cappuccino, small Pepsi, and one Twirl bar, and it ended up costing the same amount as last week. Go figure.

I recently had breakfast for four at this restaurant for £62 and it was the worst experience I've had in a long time. The food was overcooked and the service was nonexistent. You can get better food and drinks at Asda or Morrison. We didn't even finish our meal because it was so terrible.

This restaurant serves a 5-star price breakfast but unfortunately only offers 1-star quality. The scramble eggs and omelette were overcooked, and the bacon and mushroom were dry. I could have made a better breakfast at home. If I had known, I would have gone to Morrison's for breakfast instead.

The Marriott Hotel offers excellent facilities, including a good basic breakfast menu with larger meals available throughout the day. The Dieucks franchise serves a typical selection of coffee, which was exactly what we needed after a training session. I highly recommend trying the eggs benedict from the breakfast menu.

A disappointed local. Would like to be more positive but unfortunately the food I had this weekend was nothing like the very pleasant surroundings. The quality was distinctly value meal ............but even if the food was considerably cheaper it still offers little appeal. Frankly, I 'm stunned this establishment can 't do better. I guess they rely on passing guests. My meal simply reminded me why I haven 't eaten there for years. Not quite sure how they get away with the blatant gap between quality and price/

"I've been to a couple of different Dishoom branches a few times and have never been disappointed by the breakfast options. The sausage naan roll is excellent. A couple of really tasty vegan sausages with some melted vegan cheese all wrapped up in a lovely soft naan and served with some sort of sweet chilli dipping sauce. My go to now is usually the vegan Bombay. It's a good hearty breakfast plate with... a couple of the same well seasoned vegan sausages. Some vegan tofu akuri a nicely spiced tofu scramble. Some very well cooked mushroom slices (that are maybe a wee bit under seasoned). The baked beans are really nicely spiced, elevating them far beyond the standard sweet sauce fare that's the usual. A few slices of well flavoured black pudding (that could be fried to being a bit crispier). A cooked tomato which is a bit dull, I've never been keen on tomatoes on my breakfast plate and this once has not changed my mind. It could do with some more charring and maybe some spicing. To help you mop everything up, the whole thing is served with a couple of soft bread buns that have been nicely toasted. I usually top the whole thing off with some chocolate chai with oat milk you get free refills for your chai. Unfortunately, it isn't wheelchair accessible. There are stairs up into the restaurant and various small flights of stairs to get to different parts of the restaurant. Updated from previous review on 2024 03 25"
