"My husband and I ate at this gem of a restaurant last week, while staying in Colchester, and we certainly weren’t disappointed. We were giving a lovely warm welcome by the lady who owns the restaurant with her Mum. The menu is very extensive with all the wonderful Thai dishes that you would expect. We both ordered Neua Pat Nam Prik Pow and I swapped the beef for chicken, with Thai Fragrant Rice. It was cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of spice absolutely delicious. We were told that the chefs in the kitchen are all Thai, which definitely adds to the authenticity. The restaurant was very busy , and there was a lovely ambience. Thank you Thai One for making our experience so special, and we will definitely return next time we are in Colchester xx"

Last minute decision to eat out and what a pleasant surprise when we managed to book a table at Thai One. Really good food and great service. Would definitely recommend!

Having lived in Thailand for a short period this restaurant was a pleasant reminder of good Thai food very well presented with an authentic taste well worth a visit. The service was also excellent

We had a really delicious meal here. Staff were attentive and friendly, the place was spotless and well-maintained. We ordered from the special menu, which was new that day, and so were asked for our feedback specifically so they could tweak the dishes if it seemed necessary. We were even given small amounts of lime sorbet after our spicy starters so that our palates would be reset for the main course. Heartily recommended.
