"We came for lunch yesterday, and on a Sunday, there wasn't much food left in Tadcaster! It was a long-awaited reunion with friends, and our meal did not disappoint! Among the three of us, we chose a selection of tapas (5 for £19.99) along with the meat sharing board. The food arrived quickly and was freshly made! The ribs were meaty and abundant, and I particularly loved the patatas bravas! The broken pigs reminded me of my time in London when I used to order sausages in batter with chips. These little delights were crispy and delicious! The staff were friendly, and I look forward to returning to try more dishes from the menu. They have a large pizza oven, which I definitely want to try next time!"

Nice courteous and attentive staff. Good selection of drinks. Arrived too late to enjoy the tapas, but will be back again at some point as it was a great atmosphere up in the rooftop terrace. Ver carta

During our meal, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We ordered a chili burger and a spicy hot pizza, both of which were excellent! The flavors were just right. Additionally, the live singer had a fantastic voice. Overall, it’s a top-notch place!

I stopped by for lunch and really enjoyed the pizzas we ordered. Some of the toppings offered were quite unique, creating interesting variations. The service was excellent, with friendly staff and a talented cook! Overall, it was great value for money as well.

Nice place, good range of drinks and brands. Great friendly service, good choice of dishes on the menu made to order in clean kitchen that is in full public view. Would definitely recommend for a meal out. Near car parks and bus station in Tadcaster High Street, near John Smith's Brewery. Ver carta

About a month ago a groups of us pre booked for a meal only to have to walk out (having only paying for our drinks) after waiting 2 hours after ordering our food which hadn't arrived. What was the chef actually doing during this time as it certainly wasn't busy? Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

"This venue promised so much but didn't really deliver. Some parts were good others not great. Staff are very welcoming, although most are very young and seem quite inexperienced. For starters we had a mix of batterered king praws with a chilli dip which were enjoyable. Garlic mushrooms which hit the spot. Potatoe skins, again which were good. I had a goats cheese tart which was very small and not great taste wise. Our mains were of a reasonable size those that plumped for the home made steak pie probably fared best. The pie was served with homemade chips and a selection of vegetables. The pies were meaty inside with well cooked beef. The homemade chips were good too. I asked for Ketchup for my chips and wished I hadn't as it wasn't a great brand. I used the extra gravy that was served with the pie instead. My partner had a chicken stroganoff with boiled rice which he enjoyed. The most disapointing dish was the Chicken paramo. The béchamel sauce that was on this was bland, overly think and lumpy. Chef definitely needs to rethink this one. Our desserts were again a mixed bag. My partner ordered vanilla ice-cream and it only came with one scoop. The Crème brulee was good, as was the brownie. The ice cream sundae I had was a poor attempt. Served in a bowl with what presented like squinty cream . We have been here before and thought the food wasn't as good this time around. Just needs a few small tweaks though to improve."

"This review is for the food only. However, being an establishment that's offers Halal dining, I have also mentioned a few other things that people will find helpful. Food is average at best. All chicken dishes taste the same. In starters, the fish pakoras were hard and didn't taste right. The seekh kebabs were good though. And so we're the chicken tikka botis. Lamb chops were acceptable. Quite a few deserts on the menu were unavailable. Naan and roti were fresh. Chicken in chicken palak was under cooked. Credit to the staff who took it back and took it off the bill. We visited the establishment on our way back from a long journey and had another 120 mins of travel left. We were running out of time for Asar prayer so had to visit the place. A few things to note... No place to make wudhu as the toilets were not really clean. We made wudhu in the car park after using the toilets. No place to offer salah inside. Not even an office. There was music being played and the place serves alcohol. The staff did turn off the music at our request and seated us in a corner where we could offer salah next to the table on our own mussalah. They did not mind that at all. So full credit to them for this. However, it's worth noting that the place was almost empty with only a few other covers. We stayed about 2.5 hrs. Prayed Magrib and Isha there. Had it not been for the rain and the need to make wudhu/toilets on a country road, we would not have eaten there for reasons other than food."
