We were pleasantly surprised to stumble upon this restaurant during lunchtime. The staff was very friendly and the menu was delicious. We wish we lived closer so we could visit more often!

For £17, you can enjoy a delicious meal of Fish and Chips and a lime soda, making it a great value. The venue is comfortable and ideal for gathering with friends. There is ample car parking available. Enjoy a cozy coffee by the open fire after lunch.

Fantastic home made food, attentive service and a home baked bread which was to die for. We were nearby the Akeman and as we passed by and saw how cute it looked we booked for dinner on Saturday at 5:00 pm. We were positively impressed by the food, quality and the taste. On another occasion, we attended a Quiz Night at the restaurant and had a very enjoyable evening. The village atmosphere was great and the beer selection was impressive, including local brews from Vale Breweries and craft ales on tap. Despite the large crowd in one area, the service was still good and diners were able to enjoy their meals peacefully in another area.
