Anchor has undergone a fantastic renovation. The food was excellent, and the Haggis Burger was particularly outstanding. As locals, we will definitely return!

We had such a fantastic meal on Sunday that we decided to return for dinner. The service, food, and atmosphere were all outstanding. We enjoyed it once more! I highly recommend the brisket and steak. Once again, we give it 5 stars!

This is a old fashioned and traditional pub on the outside but with a surprisingly bright, modern and spacious interior. It is an pleasant spot for a drink with friends and also serves excellent food. It's a popular spot so advance booking for meals is definitely a good idea.

First, we were served warm bread with a mix of butter and oil for dipping—it was so delicious that I forgot to take a picture! I ordered the burger with brie, and oh my goodness, my taste buds have never experienced anything quite like it; it was perfection! And the cheesecake—I'm telling you, I couldn't get enough of it! It was simply perfect.

Been to Swanage many times and never fancied going into this pub. However noticed it had changed hands last year. So.we decided to have dinner and a few drinks. What a cosy, chilled and pleasant atmosphere it now has. The food was absolutely delicious. The staff and service was excellent and prices were what you would expect. Would definitely recommend the Anchor and we will return.

During my visit to Swanage, I stopped by The Anchor, and it was a delightful experience. The pub was charming and truly stood out. We shared some nachos, but I really wished I had my own because they were absolutely delicious. Next, I had the risotto, which was incredible, especially paired with the grilled chicken. My companion enjoyed the lamb and red wine cake, and it was just as tasty. I can't recommend The Anchor highly enough!

recently had dinner in the anker during our stay in the queue, and to say I was impressed by an understatement. the menu was varied, with vegan options. I had the booze of the pig, and it was not only cooked to perfection, but also beautifully presented. I wouldn't call this a pub bureau, because the quality of food was far beyond it. also the table staff, which was very attentive, has pointed marks. my new way to eat whenever I'm next in scandal. highly recommended.
