"first visit in this pub/restaurant as it changes the hands and the last; will not go again. had lunch with friends. eating was expensive and mere. the two and a half small slices of the roasted beef were so thin that they were rather carved. a little fat on them. three minuscule bratkartoffels and a quarter of a small parsnip. the rest of the sweet were extras and the portions were small. the previous charming rustic decor was replaced by a company interpretation of time features that look fake. but the crucial element in a restaurant is eating and it is overpriced and inadequate. an expensive mistake that we will not repeat."

Went in for a roast, the meat was lovely, however not impressed with the frozen potatoes (aunt Bessies) for the price they charge for a dinner 16.50) for the pork roast, wont be returning Im afraid

while we were in the opposite, we came over this beautiful pub. the staff was attentive and friendly, eating was really good, especially the main meal(we had the lamb and the steak meal times) we thought the decor was tasteful and the atmosphere great. will definitely visit again when in the opposite.

we have been sitting here with my mother, dad and little brother, we have not booked how we decided on the day and the staff were really helpful and offered us a table immediately. great service and dear eating I had the fish and chips delicious, my little...Brother (8years) is so fussy, but the child menu had loads to choose. will be back soon.

First visit since the restaurant refit, we booked a table but we were kept waiting till they set it up. The staff were very polite and although the pub didn't seem busy it took a long time for food to appear.Food was however good very tasty and presented well. Prices a little bit steep but on reflection as it's not long been opened and many restaurants having staffing issues we would go again.

After waiting for the place to reopen, and the incredible photos posted on their social, I can only feel abandoned. while the interior looks like this, eating is unfortunately not great and massive overpriced for quality and quantity. such a scandal and unfortunately it does not look like it would change due to its managed home status. while the employees do their best, I hope that the management company sees this and looks to improve opportunities.
