Atmosphere is good, odd banger as per norm depending on what's on the telly,,, ie football. Easy sorted with a word in their ear. The usual plastic gangsters lol. Love it. Ver carta

Nice place called in for drink very friendly staff and locals. Did want food but they weren't doing any can't remember if it was just that day or it was to late or they have stopped do food altogether so if your after food call first, if you just want a drink and chat great place to call. Last pub in stonehouse. 25 years ago there were at least 4 others. I'm not a pub-goer, so I can't comment on the bar. Revisited today March 2022. Had a meal and was delighted. Best fish I have had in ages. Cooked to perfection. Great, friendly service. Highly recommend. Last pub left in Stonehouse. 25 years ago there were at least 4 others. I am not a pub goer so cannot comment on the bar. I do occasionally go for lunch in what must be the lounge. Comfortable place to go for a meal. Always good, friendly service.

I recently visited this cozy bar and lounge and was pleased to see it reopen after Covid under new ownership. The new owners are doing a great job, especially when it comes to the delicious food served at lunchtime. The menu is reasonably priced with a two-course option for £11.99. I highly recommend trying the beer-battered fish and the steak pie, which was packed with filling. The service is always friendly and welcoming. I recently returned for lunch in December 2022 and the experience was just as fantastic as before. The steak pie was still amazing! I will definitely be back again. Ver carta
