Tried to have dinner here but even thought everything online said closing at 7:30, when we got there at 6:10pm the employees were actively turning out the lights and locking the door. Ver carta

Heard that this was a good take-away place so thought I'd give it a try. Arrived around 6:45 and was told by the staff that they wouldn't serve us because they were getting ready to close. Really? At 6:45? Just make sure if you want to eat here that you know when they close.

The best potatoes in town! Seriously. You can’t get fed quite as much yummy food for the price point they offer anywhere else in town. If you’re on a budget, if you need to meet a variety of dietary requirements, if you just love potatoes as much as I do! The Potato shop is a staple of Edinburgh. Love them!
