The Balance Inn - Carta

visit had Sunday lunch, amazing. Had fish and chips previous visit that was superb. Would definately recommend a visit and we will go as often as we can now we have discovered this little gem.

We moved to the village weeks ago and have visited The Balance regularly . The beer and cider are great, the pizza one of the best I have tasted and the staff and locals very friendly. All in all very happy its our new local,...would recommend.

Really nice food. Slow service when we were the only ones eating mins). Portion size great albeit served in a daft tin tray. Avoid sitting in the conservatory, it’s very cold! Bar dining area is a little intimidating when all locals chatting sat across...multiple tables to one another. Ver carta

Saturday evening meal for of us, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Between us we ordered steak really tasty with great home made onion rings; fish n chips. the batter was outstanding; and steak n ale pie.. the meat was very lean, tender and flavoursome. The HPA on tap was spot on.

I moved into Luston about weeks ago and this is now my local. Visited many times since living here. Always has at least cask ales on the bar normally local together with Robinsons Cider. They also do food and I would throughly recommend...the pizza's. The pub is run by a friendly team and I would recommend anybody to visit if in the area.

Popped in to The Balance Inn, Luston, Herefordshire. Just wanted a quick simple lunch for myself, Wife and Daughter. Very welcoming Landlord and Landlady, the locals were also very friendly and we had a good laugh with them. The food was fantastic, I had a...Steak Burger with chips, my Wife and Daughter shared a Pizza. The food was cooked fresh and was very tasty. We will certainly go back for an evening meal. We have eaten here a few times since our last review but I think it is time to up date it...a year on ....Still great! We went as a family from age up, there was something for every one. Chicken nuggets for the youngest,...burgers looked lovely and thoroughly enjoyed! The carne pizza was delicious and big enough for us all to have a little taste! it was also Friday fish night so that included fish and chips and a bottle of wine for it was delicious and the so was the wine! They always have a selection of well kept local beers and you always get a warm welcome, it was busy with a great atmosphere. Definitely recommend for a reasonably priced but delicious evening out.

My wife and I went to this pub on October We onlt live miles away but did not know it previously. What a find, this is a very friendly establishment and this includes dogs. We were introduced to Diva and JR as...they met us at the door and wanted a bit of a fuss. The locals started arriving (We went in at and they all said hello and started talking to us as though we had known them for ages. We decided to eat and was told the meals start at for the evening dinner. (The pub is open from to everyday). My wife had a meat pizza and I went for the homemade beef and ale pie and the food was delicious and properly cooked and served very quickly once we had ordered. We will definately be using this...

Initial impression was so few cars in the car park on a bright, and sunny early Spring Friday lunchtime. Entry past large dogs whose shed hair shone like a shimmering of frost over every carpet inside the establishment was reinforcing. Landlord finally heaving himself...from a chair amongst his regulars only added to the sense of unease. However the beer was good enough and so sandwiches were ordered. Apparently a simple round of brown or white was a culinary step too far and so toasted ciabattas less accompanying chips and salad (both cheap ingredients usually included to create the illusion of a huge meal for the money) were requested.
