I visited on Sunday, March 13, 2022, and I found the staff to be friendly, the service to be quick, and the food quality to be excellent. I will definitely be making this a regular spot to visit.

The service was quick, and the food was satisfactory. I ordered scampi and chips, which were nicely cooked. However, the salad was disappointing; it was merely lettuce and could easily be improved with a bit more effort. That said, the prices are quite reasonable, so I can't complain too much.

Went with high expectations but we were sadly disappointed. Lack lustre service (it wasn't busy), no starters, other items unavailable (mushrooms, rum and raisin icecream, cheesecake dessert) no atmosphere/background music. Food ok generally, but for the price paid we felt very underwhelmed. Too many better places to eat so we won't be back. Ver carta

I appreciate this place because the landlady is no-nonsense and gets straight to the point. You place your order, and the food comes out quickly—it's very good and flavorful. My experience was excellent, and it helped that it wasn't busy when I visited. I'm not a fan of too much small talk, so I really enjoy the straightforward communication. While some might find her style a bit rude, I actually prefer it.

Poor quality food. Service also extremely below where it should be. Menu says Homemade burger however it’s quite literally a burger from the freezer at a supermarket. Most desserts also are not home made and just shop bought. Restaurant was very quiet and I would imagine this is the reason why. Unfortunately I would not recommend at all. In the nicest possible way, you’d actually get better food from Wetherspoons at half the price.

The food was of good quality, and the pub had a charming rustic atmosphere. The campground was welcoming, but unfortunately, the woman in charge was rather rude and unfriendly. It was quite cold inside the pub, and when we politely asked if we could light a fire, she responded harshly, saying it wasn't allowed. As a result, we sat there feeling chilly throughout our meal. This restaurant has a charming appearance nestled down a country lane. We had made a reservation for Friday evening, but despite many tables being empty, we were seated at a small table without a view. The pub felt quite cold, with several patrons wearing coats while doors and windows were left open. The food was decent, though a bit too salty for my taste, and it lacked presentation as it was simply served on a plate swimming in gravy. We didn't even inquire about dessert because it was too chilly.

I'm, afraid to say l was not impressed with the Sunday roast, l ordered a pork roast and when it arrived l was very disappointed. The veg was undercooked, the pork was dry and there was much more fat than meat, no stuffing, no apple sauce and they had poured the gravy, though it certainly wasn't anything resembling it, all over the plate without asking if I wanted it, the roast potatoes were obviously reheated and to top it all off, the Yorkshire pud tasted like a packet pancake mix, sweet and not appetising at all, the dessert of Eaton mess was however OK. Lovely place for a drink, but l would not recommend it for a meal, sorry 4 out of 10

The staff service was basic; too often I'd hear "no" or vague, non-committal answers to simple questions, which forced me to ask the same thing in different ways just to get a clear response. 3. The prices were higher than I anticipated. 4. The food quality was adequate, but the portions were smaller than expected. 5. While the hygiene in the internal areas was good, there were still cleanliness issues—dirty surfaces like tables, chair backs, walls, and floors that could use a thorough cleaning. 6.
