Very nice Xmas lunch, but sadly lacking in atmosphere. No music and virtually no other diners which was disappointing. More support needed deserved as the food us really good.

Very warm welcome as we walked in, area reserved for our meeting was well set out. Food service was swift and totally scrumptious. Felt very comfortable in there, will definitely return.

Was very quiet the night we went in and did feel under pressure to leave when we finished although it was only 9.15 and were last ones there. But food was ok I went for the Asian dishes.

Staff not wearing masks. The only good thing was the building itself, beautiful and cozy. The rest is very disappointing, staff not welcoming, no normal coffee just filtered. Sandwich was freezing cold , French fries were good but because the sandwich was so cold it all together didn’t taste good. Won’t recommend.

Went with high expectations but we were sadly disappointed. Lack lustre service (it wasn't busy), no starters, other items unavailable (mushrooms, rum and raisin icecream, cheesecake dessert) no atmosphere/background music. Food ok generally, but for the price paid we felt very underwhelmed. Too many better places to eat so we won't be back.

Excellent food. Thought the lady serving (boss? was a bit abrupt. She accused one of our number of not mentioning gluten free. Yes, he did, as he always does when eating out. Showed obvious irritation when someone was slow to give order. Took all orders from end of table (8 people instead of individually meaning you had to yell your order. Otherwise a delightful venue with superb food.

The food was good quality the pub is very quaint And the campsite was friendly however the woman running the place was rude and unfriendly. It was very cold in the pub. We politely asked if we could light the fire and she very rudely said NO YOU CAN'T and she wasn't going to do it either. So we sat in our coats all through the meal. She then was insulting to everyone in there. She spoiled it for me

Poor quality food. Service also extremely below where it should be. Menu says Homemade burger however it’s quite literally a burger from the freezer at a supermarket. Most desserts also are not home made and just shop bought. Restaurant was very quiet and I would imagine this is the reason why. Unfortunately I would not recommend at all. In the nicest possible way, you’d actually get better food from Wetherspoons at half the price.

I'm, afraid to say l was not impressed with the Sunday roast, l ordered a pork roast and when it arrived l was very disappointed. The veg was undercooked, the pork was dry and there was much more fat than meat, no stuffing, no apple sauce and they had poured the gravy, though it certainly wasn't anything resembling it, all over the plate without asking if I wanted it, the roast potatoes were obviously reheated and to top it all off, the Yorkshire pud tasted like a packet pancake mix, sweet and not appetising at all, the dessert of Eaton mess was however OK. Lovely place for a drink, but l would not recommend it for a meal, sorry 4 out of 10
