"We visited Robin Hood's Bay and stopped off at the Bay Hotel for a quiet pint, we sat outside on some wooden pub tables overlooking the sea wall and the Bay itself. Staff were pleasant and cleared the tables quickly after customers had finished. Upstairs in the bar area folk were sitting down either with a drink or eating a meal. The whole atmosphere was of an enjoyable visit by all. Nearby activities: Direct access to the beach by pub outside tables down a cobbled slipway, allowing a great walk around the Bay beach."

Really good pub!! Staff were super friendly. The location is perfect, gorgeous sea views. Dog friendly too which is always a bonus. The food was amazing, it was reasonably priced as well. This was our second visit, five years after the first. What a fantastic spot right in the heart of Robin Hood's Bay! The warm welcome from the crashing waves is truly delightful. The food is hot and hearty—exactly what you'd expect from a great pub. The selection of beers and gins is impressive as well. Overall, it's a wonderful place to enjoy.
