"On our way from Ely, Cambs to Pembrokeshire and stumbled upon The Bear before we had a chance to check Happy Cow. What a great find! My partner had the Welsh Cawl which came with bread and vegan cheese This was delicious! I had the plant based burger, complete with skinny fries, salad and vegan coleslaw also delicious. Staff were excellent, very attentive and welcoming. Highly recommended and would be five stars if Happy Cow allowed it!"

Really lovely pub in a really lovely location. The food was delicious and the quirky little rooms absolutely make it. The staff were so friendly. Can not fault this pub in any way.

I had the Vietnamese nine bean congee which was very tasty and nutritious. Will look forward to trying the many vegan desserts on the next trip. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Called here on my way home this week and was delighted with what I had. I had a vegetarian Thai Red Curry with rice with a side portion of chips. More than enough and very tasty additional heat available if preferred. Delicious desert also. Ver carta

We stopped en route for a quick lunch at The Bear Inn. What a find. This place is a gem. We were made to feel so welcome and the service was excellent. There was an interesting selection of meals on the menu and the authentic food was delicious. I can highly recommend this pub.

Very pleasant setting, friendly and welcoming service There were four of for lunch. The vegan burgers and vegetarian ciabattas were great. Delicious chips. The only reason I didn’t give it 5* is that HappyCow wouldn’t let me (because they also serve meat). Updated from previous review on 2023-03-23
