This lovely old coaching in set in the heart of Wiveliscomb has a friendly atmosphere with knowledgeable attentive staff. A warm welcome will await you. The inn serves an array of home cooked food of generous proportions.

Had an absolutely lovely stop at the Bear after a dog walk. We were served by Sigrid, who was an absolutely great waitress, and was super helpful with our difficult dietaries! The loaded fries and nachos looked great will deffo be back. A lovely atmosphere even in the mid week, and they are even dog friendly.

Wednesday steak night was ass! my parents were recommended to this place and so we tried and were really impressed. well cooked delicious ribeye steak, a generous part of cloby chips and some other side, all delicious. her own beer was also great, and it's one because I have seen bar staff as friendly and friendly as in bear (but I'm an londoner, so maybe that's the reason! .

lunch for 3 in this cozy, cozy and welcoming small town inn. entered on a cold, gray januar Monday. they met with a burning fire and a warm, friendly reception. pleasant mood and bozz, native and visitor; dogs welcome. good menu and specials. we have all chosen another menu option. all tasty and made to house, especially 'proper' ham and cake of the day with real short herb baked instead of freezer special puff / flaky nonsense. service, worth and eat everything super. very welcome if many covid complain, esseien do not choose to open when it 'y' on the day; not to serve outside the tiny window, if chef is apparently available; and not to illuminate their advertised real fires. the bear inn...
