We went for NYE and didn't have food-just drinks. We enjoyed the great atmosphere, people all so friendly, brilliant local DJ, read the room so well. Thank you for helping 2024 arrive with a bang!!

FRIST TIME AT THE BELL 9 OF US A BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION .VERY GOOD AND PLENTY OF CHOICE ON MENU .WE ALL SAID BEST FOOD WE HAD FOR A LONG TIME EVERY MEAL WAS LOVELY.SO GOOD WE HAVE BOOKED AGAIN LOVELY BIG BAR WE HAD A DOG WITH US .AND WAS VERY WELL LOOKED AFTER IF YOU FIND A PUB LIKE THIS WITH A GREAT CHEF KEEP GOING WE WILL THANK YOU SEE YOU ALL SOON

What a breath of fresh air. A decent pub with home cooked well portioned meals and friendly service. I was there last night and would highly recommend. Honest, decent priced pub food and really friendly unassuming service to boot. The current owners have not been there for long according to the pub's website but if last night is anything to go by they are making a roaring success of it. I wish them all the best and would highly recommend anyone to give The Bell a try.

We are so lucky to have a local traditional pub with a great team of people and you can see that Claudia Brett know how to run it. There is a good selection of drinks, and if you like beer the Timothy Taylor is always spot on. The waiters and waitresses are always courteous and helpful. The restaurant produces hearty home cooked fresh food. We look forward to having our Sunday dinners here. They have a great beer garden that is dog friendly and even make sure the dog has water and a few dog biscuits, spot on!

Went here for a Saturday evening early dinner with the family as we were staying locally. Clearly a popular place locally and the Saturday steak night was clearly a big attraction! We decided to order from the regular menu instead but the food was still amazing, loads of steak in the steak pie, lasagne bubbling with cheese and great meals for the children, loads of really nicely cooked vegetables which are often missing at a pub dinner too! Just about managed to stuff in one of their amazing (yet reasonably priced) puddings too! Service was super great too, really attentive without being too much. Price for the quality of the food and service was very good too. Would really recommend!
