The Black Bull Pub Wetherby

Good food at reasonable price. Excellent service and very friendly wait staff. Food was ok and the desserts were excellent. Dog friendly too.

Steak pie is our favourite. The small portion isn’t really small. Place is always busy, but we always manage to find a seat. Hard working staff.

Lovely pub, very helpful staff, food was amazing, plenty of it and very quick service. Would definitely recommend. Plenty of choise on menu and very good value for money.

Had some nice meals in the Black Bull, and Sunday roast highly recommended. I' ve had many meals in here, ranging from Gammon, Liver, Steak Pie is a favourite, and as mentioned the Sunday Roast is good value.

The pub is great very welcoming we called for lunch on our way to Harrogate my husband had chilli I had a burger it was fantastic really well presented and so tasty plenty of locals eating and it all looked great the only downside to our visit was the landlady took my husbands thatchers cider glass before he could pinch it but we will be back again so we will try again

Not been here for food for a while, wish we hadn't left it this long. Had a great lunch, ordered the small steak pie which was more than enough for me. Served with fresh veg for £10, wow. Everything was piping hot and service was fast and friendly. They had a good range of beers plus guest ales. Just one thing, the entrance needs a bit of attention, a lick of paint and fresh flooring would make a big difference and make it more appealing. Won't leave it too long till we return.

My partner and I visited for a meal for our anniversary on a Saturday lunch time. When we arrived it was quite busy but we were seated no problems. There was a group of men in at the time who were extremely loud and obnoxious, we was actually going to leave and eat somewhere else. I’m glad we didn’t! The food was just beautiful! My partner ordered the steak and ale pie and he actually said it’s the best pie he’s ever had! I had a burger which was also lovely! So glad we stayed and ate.

To break our journey we stopped in Wetherby,we called into The Black Bull Inn.It was a busy horse race day in the area so due to that we were advised that they were stopping food earlier than usual.That was OK as we ordered our food in the time remaining. Our meals were served fast,but more importantly,the quality of our meals were absolutely fantastic. The staff were all so friendly nothing was a trouble to them. We will return as soon as we can to Wetherby and the Black Bull Inn,it will be nice to spend longer in the town.

We went to black bull on Saturday for food was a bit skeptical as A pub overall , but omg the food was absolutely beautiful! Really really nice blew my expectations right out the water ! So much so we came back the next day for Sunday lunch and again was amazing tasty so much better than other places in Wetherby and at a fair price ! Only down fall is they don’t do kids portions or menus would appreciate if they took this into consideration ! Really impressed with the food and staff are so patient too ! Thank you my new go too !
