"the first impressions of the black horse binsted were all positiw, the pub had a beautiful environment as it was in the landscape with a beautiful view of the golf course while eating in the garden room or outside, especially with the sunset we...hadow the lookout is stunning. the pub had a nice, cozy feeling, with good color schemes and decor. the pub also had very clean facilities that are very pleasant and they trust and feel safe with their 5-star food hygiene certificate. the staff were very friendly and friendly as soon as we entered the door, they were ready to help and answer all the questions we had. the customer service on the black horse was attentive as they ensured that everything was in order, watched us all the time there and even went beyond our expectations, as they put a candle in the desert as it had my friends birthday the next day! the personal had strong product knowledge, as they had always responded to ask that we had asked whether it was about the menu, ingredients, drinks or something else. the eating experience was very pleasant, the pub had a nice atmosphere, eating came to suitable times, so they have time to let their food go between the curses. the food was also presented to a very attentive and appetizing wise. the quality of food was also amazing, each dish had a lot of taste and they could easily say that the ingredients used were very good quality and that they were produced on site. they also had a wide menu of diners and drinks with many meals and drinks. the pub is dog-friendly and it is suitable for all age groups as they also have a children's menu!. the black horse surpassed my expectations, everything was done on a beautiful way, and they went well over what I expected to say nothing bad about the pub at all! I would recommend the pub my friends and family in spite of that they always have a lot to offer and great options!"

the first time at black horse. excellent food service. good prospects too. the best in the opposite we have lived in the opposite only 18 months. visit them soon before the transporthooligans begin to build the A27 double-track and destroy this idyllic place.

I haven't been back here for roughly 6 years or so. Although in a quiet area it was quite busy today. I don't get to come to The Black Horse that often to eat or drink. It's also very well decorated during Christmas which gives a very warm and welcoming atmosphere.

From the first welcome to the final farewell, this was a superb dining experience. The service, quality and presentation of the food were all excellent. We had a range of dishes, (crab salad, the roast lamb and the beef) all were beautifully cooked and...presented. Well done and thank you we shall return! And soon! Ver carta

my wife and I were in a short holiday in west sussex. we booked very last minute. very friendly and helpful staff service. within 20 minutes we sat in a bright, airy, well furnished room. the service was fast. we both had a three cure. meal, each cure is really delicious, and quite expensive! good size too. we both gave 10/10, and have no difficulty recommending this pub/restaurant.

It was the first time I had been to this pub and it certainly won’t be my last! My friend and I came here for Sunday lunch as part of a weekend away, and we could not have chosen better is was a wonderful...way to end our mini break. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff were all very friendly, the views were fabulous and the decor was lovely too. A perfect pub in every way, which is a rare find thank you!

My wife declared that it was the best meal she had enjoyed in a while, and I also found it to be very good. We usually don't have all three courses, but this time it was definitely worth it. The dining areas offer lovely views of the nearby golf course and have a great ambiance. It was a relaxing evening with excellent service. My only slight concern was the cost of the beer and lager we ordered. We would definitely return for another visit. Ver carta

The views are stunning and the service always friendly and efficient. The food, for the most part is delicious, but I dined last night and had the chocolate mousse for dessert. I’ve had the mousse before and it wasn’t the best bitty with a...hard top, so I put it down to maybe being a one off. Gave it another go last night and it was the same again. When getting down to the last 2 spoonfuls, there was what appeared to be unmixed egg white. It also lacked richness. Unfortunately it wasn’t just a blip, it seems they just struggle to make a rich, smooth mousse. The atmosphere is great and the new garden room is fab with the views, would highly recommend, just not the chocolate mousse.

What a great experience; from the friendly voice on the phone booking, to the in person greeting, the ambience and accomplished cookery. A broad client base all having a nice evening at this charming country pub minutes off the busy A27 near Arundel. I tried...2 specials ;goats cheese rolled in Almonds with a fresh and tasty salad, follows by rump of lamb, tender and served in a delicious pomegranate sauce accompanied by a dish of mixed seasonal vegetables and a separate dish of dophenoise potatoes so much more appetising than a big mound of food on one plate thankyou! I'd walked Goodwood golf course that day so pushed the boat out and had the rubbarb crumble with custard. All washed down wi...

"Went with my partner who’d been here a good few years before and had fond memories of it. It’s changed! I was told on the phone it was advisable to book, I have no idea why as it was practically empty. We were pretty much ignored when we got there by an older woman behind the bar but hoped it would get better. The elderly woman on another table went off to find her own pepper so I should’ve known then. We ordered drinks and one pint of flat coke later we asked to send it back, I was told it was indeed real Coke by the sullen looking waitress wearing cycling shorts. She then admitted it wasn’t real Coke and did he want a bottle of that. We were waiting so long for our food that dirty glasses were accumulating on the table and at one point we put them up on the window sill. Then noticed a dirty big stain on the table cloth and a candle holder with old wax in but no candle left there on the table. We asked how much longer the food was going to be as we both had work in the morning and it turned upafter 60 minutes and I wish we’d have left 20 minutes earlier when we’d thought of doing so. When it came it was a shock to see the £27 sirloin steak. Over priced and average at best. We had to ask the waitress ‘can you please take all these dirty glasses while we eat?’ The meal was already ruined and our evening out spoiled not by the food but by the shoddy way we were treated from start to finish. Even the lemon had to be sent back! No juice, fell away from the skin into mush so god knows how long that’d been there. Apparently she needed to tell the chef but brought back more of the same. We had to quibble the bill afterwards as the pint of flat cola syrup sent back was still on there. The manageress or whatever her job title is should be embarrassed at how customers are treated but unfortunately it was obvious she didn’t care and no apology given and she treated us exactly the same. If o was on my own I wouldn’t have paid so they’re lucky we did. It was one thing after another. We came home feeling like we’d been taken advantage of and I wish I’d said more at the time. I don’t usually leave bad reviews, I chalk it up to experience and move on so you can imagine how bad it was. If you like fawlty towers you may enjoy this farce but we’ll put this down to one place we’ll never go back to and will NEVER recommend. Joke of a place. What a shame."
