The Black Prince Pub

We had a fantastic meal in the garden by the river, the food was great and the atmosphere was really good. Would highly recommend a visit!

I highly recommend this restaurant for its excellent Sunday Roast, affordable drinks, friendly and efficient service, and pleasant atmosphere.

I’d give this bar zero stars if I could but that’s not an option. A simple request to turn the volume on the TV turned in to him shouting at me.

Simply the best roast I have had in london. Huge quantities of quality meat, great gravy. Yorkshire 's with every meat option and good value, I have been to many of the 'so called ' best roast venues in london, this beats them all

The service was good and friendly, however, the food was awful. the starter was still frozen and not cooked, had to be sent back, the main (pie and mash) had to be sent back as well, the wash was stone cold. for the price I paid I was very unhappy The website needs updating, only a few dishes are on the menu so don't get fooled looking on the website .

The Black Prince has consistently been an excellent pub and now they are offering a limited takeout menu because of the Covid-19 pandemic. They have implemented a one-way ordering system with social distancing measures in place, and the food remains delicious as always. I recently enjoyed a couple of fantastic burgers and a takeout beer from them. It felt wonderful to be able to support a pub again. Thank you, Black Prince! Cheers!

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! Despite being Americans with four young children and visiting during a busy rugby match, we were warmly welcomed and seated at reserved tables. The owner personally served us and the atmosphere was great. The food was exceptional, especially the burger which was the best I've had during my time living in England. The service was top-notch and everyone, including other diners, was friendly and interested in our experience. Although we found this place on our last night in London, we hope to return in the future to try more dishes like the lamb shank.
