The Boat House Cafe Chichester Marina

We stopped for a bite to eat as part of our day out along the Chichester canal walk. We found the staff helpful and all seemed clean and tidy. The food was good and certainly a place I'd recommend going for lunch.

another great experience in the boat house cafe today. After an early bike tour I treated myself with a delicious brunch and coffee. great place with view to write, and friendly, helpful staff who always say hello and stop for a quick chat.

I witnessed the manageress deal with a very obnoxious customer. She and her team were managing with a smile despite where others would not have coped. Well done! #respect. BTW, the trout and dark chocolate tart from the new menu were delicious.

fantastic place to take a lunch or an early evening snack. above the normal level of caffe or pub food, here the level is somewhat higher. beautiful decor inside and many places to sit outside with breathtaking view. super friendly staff, even if insanely busy the lunchtime we visited. we will return!

Nice place but over priced I 'd say. Always happy to pay for quality but it didn 't make it for me. Full breakfast I had off the menu £12.50, did not come with coffee or tea also I had to order beans separately, not much of a full breakfast. Very loud inside.... Overall it 's ok but nothing to get excited about.

this is a great place to stop when walking around chichester marina and the local environment. pick up a Takeaway coffee or stay longer and enjoy something from the nice main menu. with plenty of seating inside, but especially outside, for looking rises water on a sunny day watching the boats, birds or just people.

This cafe is surrounded by a large area of natural beauty for long walks and is in the middle of Chichester Harbour. Large space with quite a lot of seating. Service was a bit poor. Food was not bad but also not great except my gorgeous fish finger sandwich that was excellent I ordered fried chips to go with it, needless to say they were deep orange colour. Would be good to change the oil from time to time. free parking on site will be going back and would recommend.

Such a shame a perfect location yet the staff are cold mannered, inexperienced and unattentive to the customers. I watched as many tables complained of waiting too long to be served or their orders taken, staff stood aimlessly looking out of the window whilst customers waited for service. when my food eventually came out it looked lovely yet was very under seasoned, bland and cold in the middle like it had been reheated not cooked fresh. I am sure with a fresh injection of younger more interested, trained buoyant staff the boathouse could return to its former glory.

today we went to chichester marina and after a walk we found the boat house café. it is such a beautiful place very tastefully decorated and decorated. a winter garden and beautiful outside area in addition to the large inner area. we originally wanted only coffee, but could not resist the fish finger sandwiches! wow, they were the best. homemade broken fish finger in beautiful brot. wonderful. the staff was friendly polite and welcoming. very efficient and let it run like a clockwork. families and dogs are welcome. excellent customer service and eating. brilliant. in any case would go back. Thank you.
