A nice setting by the river, but a very large restaurant so ask to sit outside or near the windows overlooking the river. think we sat in the conservatory. Food was fine. Ver carta

The best part of our experience was the excellent , balanced customer service, staff were very attentive without being overbearing. Food was good and well presented. We all felt welcome including Biscuit the dog

Had a great time here for a small work dinner catching up with colleagues. We sat outside (ish) in the lovely conservatory which was lovely and warm great lighting etc. Sofia was very attentive and service was quick and effortless. Will def go back again Ver carta

Excellent venue . great atmosphere and really good attentive staff. Food well portioned and a great selection of drinks. Its a gem of a place. We booked for a table for 8 and each person liked the place and pleased with the staff from start to finish. Will definitely visit again

We went to The Boatman for the second time tonight and we loved it just as much as the first time! The food is amazing, the service is fast and friendly, and the ambiance is fantastic. The cocktails are also delicious! If you can get a table in the separate conservatory, it's very romantic and has a stunning view of the river. I highly recommend it!
