"Absolutely fantastic place. We booked for a Sunday lunch, booking was easy and had confidence as they took my number just in case. The beer garden and play area where very charming and peaceful. Small field for the day area with a couple of swings. Patio type area with quite a few wooden tables and chairs. Inside we were greeted very warmly and seated by a very friendly woman. Menus provided quickly and order taken promptly, lovely selection on the vegan and vegetarian specials board as well as the main menu and children's menu. The food was delicious, hot and served really quickly. Even so we never felt rushed and had a lovely table in a little nook. We were playing a few games of uno around waiting for our mains and then waiting for our desserts and when we hadn't quite finished a game when our youngest daughter had gone out to play we were told there was no rush to leave as the table wasn't booked again for a few hours. It was so relaxing and the food was amazing and good service that it will be our go to pub for food whenever we are in Eskdale now, thoroughly recommend the place if you are in the area."

Lovely pub in Boot Village, close to the gift shop a short walk along from The Brook House Inn. Warm welcome. Robinson's pub, with Dizzy Blonde on cask. Great selection of tasty sandwiches for lunch a fab selection of other food. Hotel highlights: Great value

we had the falafel hummus and sun-dried tomaten ciabatta with chips (cooked in separate vegan friier) and our son had a vegan ice. lunch, pornstars and dessert all had a vegan option, not tones of choice and falafel hard, but better than other places! scream and friendly staff make it worth it when they are in the against.

I went to this restaurant with my family for a nice meal and was pleasantly surprised to find a vegan menu with a variety of starters, main dishes, and ice cream/sorbet desserts. I inquired about the vegan options for their wines, but the staff was unsure. However, one staff member went above and beyond, helping me search online to find a vegan red wine option. The service was incredibly helpful and friendly. I ordered the Bolognese while my partner enjoyed the tagine with falafel balls on the side. Everything we tried was delicious!

Booked a 70th birthday party here communication service and rooms excellent. The menu provided was first class, providing for all dietary requirements. All our guests had a wonderful time. Rooms: Excellent quality good values for money. Nearby activities: Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway just a short walk away. Safety: Great care was taken on advice regarding food. Good lighting outside.
