Weekday visit for evening meal. Great as always. Lovely food, excellent friendly service. Reasonably priced. Will be back.

Went to The Bridge with friends for Christmas lunch. Excellent three course menu and good prices. Thoroughly enjoyable meal and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and will revisit.

Our go-to spot, with friendly staff always giving a warm welcome. The food is amazing with plenty of delicious options to choose from, but the standout is definitely the carvery. The roast meat is outstanding, paired with the best gravy I've ever tasted on a carvery.

The Bridge is one of our favourite places to eat out. The service is second to none. I booked a meal for a group of people on Christmas Eve, and we had a wonderful time as always, the staff were so accommodating and friendly, and the meals were highly praised by all. There's plenty of choice on the menu too. I prefer vegetarian food but my husband loves meat, so it's great to have a good range of meals to please us both. Ver carta

We visited The Bridge in early December to find a location for a post-funeral event before Christmas. Alex, Nick, and the team were very helpful and friendly. We decided to have lunch and were served by Pamela, who was also very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. We held our wake event in the conservatory with 22 guests and had a finger buffet with tea and coffee provided. The selection of sandwiches, sausage rolls, cakes, and other items was great, and the overall cost was very reasonable compared to other venues we had considered. We highly recommend The Bridge for great food and excellent service.

I took my wife to The Bridge for an early birthday meal. We were seated within a minute and were informed that food orders were taking approximately 15 minutes due to the busyness of the restaurant, which was not a problem for us. Our drinks order was taken promptly, and we had our drinks in less than 3 minutes. As we waited for our food, we enjoyed chatting and our meal was brought to our table well within the 15 minute timeframe. My wife loved her gammon, and I was very satisfied with my perfectly cooked rump steak, which I like to be cooked blue. The attentive staff made us feel special and at home. We’d heard good things about The Bridge so booked a table for Sunday lunch . Arrived at allocated time and received a warm welcome and shown to our table . Ordered wine and went to the carvery buffet for the main course . We selected our meats and helped ourselves to the vegetables on offer which were plentiful. The consistency of the gravy resembled chocolate sauce but hey-ho give it a try .On returning to our table we found the vegetables to be warm/tepid , lacking salt and generally bland , but the meat was very nice .
