Stopped for a pint and some chips on a walk from Whitby, great service and the food beer were lovely. Sat in the pub garden and was fortunate enough to see the train go past, it's really close!

Had the gammon and the fish cougons both well prepared and cooked and presented well. Nice atmosphere and open longer hours which is good. However I would say that the drinks a little expensive for a regular outing.
