"I came to this restaurant for Father's Day after visiting many times before. Unfortunately, this time the service was poor and the portions were small. I am gluten-free, a dietary restriction I mentioned when making the reservation. Typically, the chef comes out to explain what I can and cannot eat, but this time the waitress told me I could only have what was marked on the menu, which was just olives. I asked to speak to the chef, and was surprised when the waitress suggested I could have a roast dinner. When the roast beef arrived at the table, it had a Yorkshire pudding on it, which I was initially told I couldn't have. After questioning the waitress, she confirmed it was gluten-free, only to take my plate away one minute later because it wasn't actually gluten-free. This experience has made me doubt their ability to accommodate my dietary needs. I spoke to the manager, who told me they were working to address issues from the previous management."

This place has a lovely setting by the Bridge, river and fishing lakes and does a really good plate of loaded nachos.

Had a bit of an up and down time recently but now back in track again. Decent bistro type place serving Lacons beers.

Very good parking, easily accessible and tonight they had 80s music playing in the background. Not an extensive menu but plenty to choose from. Son choose plain burger with hand cut chips £0.25 extra and fried onions £0.50 extra and both worthy of the money. Husband had the Mexican burger which comes with lots of HOT

The restaurant has excellent parking and is easily accessible. Tonight, they were playing 80s music in the background. The menu is not extensive, but there are plenty of options to choose from. My son opted for a plain burger with hand-cut chips, which had an additional cost of £0.25 for fried onions which were also worth the extra charge. My husband ordered the Mexican burger, which was very hot but delicious.

After a couple of excellent meals at The Bridge I deceided to book again for Father 's day. We reserved a table in the bar area which is dog friendly and ordered our meals. Three roasts and a Steak. The service and food was excellent as always and we were made to feel very welcome by the manager and his staff. Both my parents are in there 80s and my mum complimented the chef on 'The best Apple pie she has ever eaten '. Our dog was spoilt by the locals as usual and I 'm sure even he looks forward to the next visit.

What a little gem this pub is. We booked there for a meal and our early arrival didn’t phase anyone and we were calmly shown to our table. Our food arrived very promptly and was excellent. I had the Chicken Mushroom Tagliatelle which was the best I’d ever had. The sauce was delightful so well done to the chef. Service at the bar and in the restaurant was second to none. I must also thank the owner of the premises who on hearing me ask the barmaid if she could order us a taxi to take us to our nearby hotel, he volunteered to take us there himself. Promptly got his car out and drove us there. Doesn’t come any better than that. Thank you Bridge Inn. Will definitely return when next in the area.

Booked a family meal for 8 people for my birthday celebration as the place is dog friendly, and I wanted to include my new rescue dog in the day too. We booked for a Sunday, so there was less general menu choice as roast dinners are served. We chose a mixture of meals, some roasts, some pizzas, some cod and chips. The food was fantastic and absolutely delicious. We were really well attended, and made to feel very welcome with the locals, and the owners of the pub. Dessert was scrumptious too with several of us trying deep fried ice cream! The dog was slipped treats, and behaved amazingly well for a new rescue. We were noisy. (Sorry about that! My only suggestion would be a mini kids type men...

I came here for Father's Day, as I have done many times before, but this time the service was poor. The food was nice, but the portions were small. I mentioned that I am gluten-free when booking, and usually the chef comes out to explain what I can and can't have. "I decided to surprise my daughter and take her for a deluxe spa break . We couldn’t fault the afternoon tea and massages at the spa these were brilliant . We were very excited about our evening meal but left feeling very deflated . On arrival no staff told us what we could have with our package, we received the wrong drinks menu. After around 20 minutes someone finally came over and asked if we wanted a drink. We ordered and asked for tap water too . One of the drinks arrived but the water and other one never did so we had to find a young bar man who was rushing about and ask him . He was lovely and went and got them for us . After a long time of waiting bread and something in a little pot was plonked on our table , no explanation what it was , we thought we had got someone else’s starter . Finally we ordered our starters it was lovely but no spoon for my daughters soup so again we had to search for staff , plates took absolutely ages to be collected, mains came finally after 1.5 hours. It was lovely but the atmosphere was bad as other customers were getting fed up of waiting too. Finally got dessert and after we finished we sat patiently waiting for our plates to be taken and bill given ,as a lot on the menu which we liked you had to pay extra for .I thought this was ridiculous thinking back how much this break had cost me . After staff walking past us and ignoring us and the empty plates I had had enough and went to find someone to put it on our room bill . This experience was not the lovely bday treat I had expected for my daughters 21st disappointing is an understatement!!!"
