The Britannia Inn - Carta

Staff were lovely and friendly. Food tastes nice. Roast potatoes not crispy, asked if I wanted sauce and then didn't bring it. Chips slightly under done. Pork was beautiful but no crackling. Definitely not a bad place to eat. Will go again.

In recent years we have stopped going to some of our favorite spots, but the Brittania has managed to keep it usually quality of service, food and beverages. It is simple, but the staff is friendly and there is usually a pleasant atmosphere.

Went there last week and had a good good time and meal. Hoped for a larger vegetarian meals, didn't feel like that was enough for the main vegetarian meal. Asparagus and basil pasta was without any special taste and too much pasta, the lentil pie was great tasting but again to small portion for vegetarian meal. But would recommend them! Ver carta

I had a table for me and my dancing booked. she had some hardships to manage the steps in the place, but once in us was in order. we saw a lively fire function and the table was clean. we had both fish and chips. the fish was well boiled and the teig was not too hard. I also liked the lemon wedge. the personal was attentive and friendly. a pleasant lunch.

we came for a late lunch and it was a really great experience! was a great atmosphere, beautiful and chilled, sitting outside with heating was the eating nice! we had amazing service of luke, nothing was too much effort for him, he also recognized my partner plate looked naked (Fussy-Esser and took out a lot of extras) and offered additional options for him. would recommend in any case! thanks for a nice lunch!

We had a lovely Sunday lunch that was delicious, though the portions were quite large—so much so that we asked for a take-home box. The staff were very helpful, but we felt our meals could have been served a bit hotter, and the roast potatoes could have been crispier. We both thoroughly enjoyed our dessert, an Eton Mess for two, which was excellent. We would definitely eat at your pub again, but next time we'll stick to smaller portions! Ver carta

We visited for a late lunch, and it was a wonderful experience! The atmosphere was fantastic—beautiful and relaxed, especially sitting outside with the heating. The food was delightful! Luke provided us with amazing service; nothing was too much trouble for him. He noticed that my partner prefers simpler dishes (a bit of a picky eater) and took away a lot of extras, while also suggesting additional options. We would definitely recommend this place! we had a wonderful evening here for birthday. it was a bit of a last minute booking and I was worried we didn't come in as it was a Friday night. the food was great and although the staff was torn from the feet, we were all very friendly and friendly. we come here regularly as my man is vegan and they always have a good variety to choose for him and is always good quality, well prepared and presented. the employees are always helpful, friendly and welcome, they are all a credit to the company.

We had a fantastic evening celebrating a birthday. It was a last-minute reservation, and I was concerned we might not get a table since it was a Friday night. The food was excellent, and despite the staff being busy, they were all very friendly and accommodating. We visit this restaurant regularly because my husband is vegan, and they consistently offer a great variety of options for him, all of which are high quality, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. The staff is always helpful, welcoming, and a real asset to the restaurant. Ver carta
