Place was busy which was good but food was dry and processed. Completely ran out of desserts, poor planning and naive. Not sure I would go back

What a jem lovely bar staff service with a smile, and great choice of drinks at a very reasonable price nice atomsphere could not fault this pub will definitely be returning

Couldn't get in anywhere but I phoned up on the off chance, got a table and had a good meal. Not at all expensive but I didn't like the pastry on the apple pie. We will eat here again. Ver carta

Had a lovely meal out with my partner and parents last nights, we all had a great meal each with no grumbles. Menu has a wide choice with good offers and food is great value for money too. Nice relaxed and homely environment. Will definitely return.

we came on a works night out for food and a few drinks, all been revamp and looks really nice inside, staff all really friendly and helpful, good selection on drinks available, the food was amazing, i had the yorkshire stack with the chedder mash, it was just the right amount, though it was that nice i could of eaten it again.

Witnessed staff go from handling cash to pulling pints to going into the kitchen without washing their hands or using hand gel. Appalling!! Waited over 30 minutes to be seated in our pre-booked table and even then, it was another 30 minutes until we were able to order. To top it all off, my boyfriend’s lasagna came out half frozen, lukewarm. Disgusting!!! Wouldn’t give it to my dog, DO NOT COME HERE Ver carta

Visited here a couple of days ago, met by friendly member of staff and shown to table. Food arrived quickly and was delicious. We had the Yorkshire stacks, chicken and gammon pie and scampi and chips. Could not fault any of it . 4 people eat for £27, excellent value for money. We have also visited a couple of times for Sunday roast, for £6.75 not sure how anyone can complain. We will definitely be back !

I have dined at this pub many times and have been very satisfied with the food, service, quality of the meals, and presentation. However, the one drawback is that every time I order a drink, it is served with a short measure. Despite my attempts to request a top-up, I am met with looks as if I am in the wrong. It is unfortunate that a pub with a good reputation for food and service risks its standing by consistently serving drinks with a short measure. It is possible they are following instructions from the Brewery rather than doing so willingly. This is a shame as it is otherwise a pleasant place to dine.

100% wouldn’t recommend coming here if you have any intolerances. No alternative milk at all. Then coffee was actually cold and the non free from milk that came had a hair in it with no specification of what type of milk it was. Staff were rude on arrival following the instructions to stand and wait to be seated and no one came to seat us for at least 7 minutes so we were standing in the door way getting in peoples spaces and obviously this highly breaches social distancing. Colleague ordered food and it came with no cutlery and the way we were spoken to and addressed wasn’t acceptable as paying customers. Made to feel unwelcome by the staff. I wouldn’t come here again I’d rather get a £1 co... Ver carta
