Last minute decision to go out for food and we could not fault this venue. Quick service, food was out in good time and the wait was top knothc.

The burgers were delicious. The craft lager was light and refreshing on a summers evening. It was quiet when we dined as it was early Friday evening which we like. It was filling up as we left. Would I return? Definitely yes. Recommend the onion straws. Ver carta

Came down to visit the castle and stopped here for a burger, we where very happy to find out they have outside seating, the staff was very friendly and helpful offering us a shaded seating outside as we had our baby daughter with us, the service was very good and the burgers tasted delicious. Things got better when a Euro game started playing on they're screen outside

We visited tonight. My partner is coeliac and the menu looked like they catered ..... and they did!!! A great atmosphere, the waitress was lovely, polite and very helpful. We had sweet potato fries.. heavenly! Chilli fries... not to be missed, a GF bacon cheese burger which more than delivered and a honey we meet again burger... pulled pork as a relish... it was yummy! If you're in town give them a try and I'm sure you won't be disappointed!!

Meeting my partners friends on a Friday night they chose to visit this burger restaurant. Was seated on the new rear terrace. The service was good, not matched by the Beer or burgers. Two poor pints of pale ale were served but changed when brought to their attention. What puzzles me is how the simple burger can go this wrong. It’s actually a small burger, salad was underwhelming, the bun is basic too. But the beef burger was tasteless, almost a bit sour/ old. Cooked on a flat top grill didn’t get any grill flavour at all. This restaurant has a five star food rating, so I was extremely surprised to find all the burgers so undercooked. They were extremely pink and this led to them tasting not... Ver carta
