I stopped by on a whim for dinner and ended up having a delightful meal. The service was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5!

We were searching for a family-friendly restaurant for a Sunday evening and were initially uncertain about this place from the outside. However, once we spoke with the staff, they were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make our children feel welcome. We stopped by for a quick drink and took a look at the menu. The prices were very reasonable, and there was a great selection of food, so we will definitely be coming back for a meal. It seems that the pub has two sections—one for dining and one for drinking (though I could be mistaken). We decided to sit on the dining side, as the men's restroom on the drinking side didn't smell very pleasant. Price per person: £1–10. Service: 5. Atmosphere: 5.

Very nice Seafood platter, burger was OK and pie was pretty good so all in all food was tasty, good quality and reasonably priced. Service was OK, bit awkward with the one bar person, but the younger members of the service team were great. It was a very traditional pub and was what you would expect, the ladies loos had very nice toiletries and smelt great too.
