You may be surprised to discover an African restaurant on Union Street, even if you pass by every day without realizing its presence.

I ordered the Okra soup and it was absolutely delicious. It did take a bit longer to arrive, but considering how busy they were this week, I will forgive them for that. Bala provided great service as well. Ver carta

This restaurant offers the best African dishes outside of Africa. It feels like a home away from home. I highly recommend it for those seeking a taste of nostalgia or anyone interested in trying African cuisine.

First time in this restaurant, and it was a very negative experience! The wrong soup was given with pounded yam. The pounded yam itself was not well made. Egusi soup was ordered for takeaway, but spinach soup was given. The spinach soup was not well made. I will not recommend this restaurant. It is money wasted. Contact them through an email but no reply. If you want quality and delicious Nigerian food, stay away!

I have been to this restaurant a couple of times and have had great experiences with both the food and the customer service. Customers must go to the counter to place their order and pay upfront. The food can take a little while to be served, so if you're very hungry, it's best to order an appetizer to hold you over. Unfortunately, I did not give it five stars because there were children running around, screaming, and the overall atmosphere was a bit chaotic for my liking. However, I did enjoy the food and will definitely be returning. Ver carta

as a friend of kalabash, it was very interested to try some different cuisine. the food was delayed by 1.5-2 hours, but we have free samosas. I had the lammkurrie and it was terrible! the lamb was hard and chewing, essentially it was old lamb. after that, he was not fair. the Barman/Waiter was really helpful, but the remaining waiters were rude. the music that was played in the “background” was so loud that you could not talk to someone. a terrible experience and no one in the group will go back. bad service and terrible eating and I would urge people to avoid completely.

I was hungry and craving some soup, so I ordered the vegetable soup. However, the waiter came back after a few minutes to inform me that they were out of the vegetable soup and gave me the option of choosing from egusi, okra, or ogbono soup instead. The soup I ended up getting had very little meat in it, just a few small pieces of meat seasoning. This was quite disappointing as back in Nigeria, the soup would be full of meat. Additionally, I was expecting to hear African music playing in the background but instead, it was hip hop music playing loudly. Overall, I was not impressed.

I had a pleasant dining experience at this restaurant in Glasgow. I was craving Nigerian cuisine and was able to easily find the restaurant using Google Maps. The restaurant itself was clean and had plenty of seating for customers. I enjoyed the Afro music playing in the background, which gave me a feeling of being at home. The menu offered a variety of African Nigerian dishes, drinks, and snacks. I ordered the famous palm wine that I had missed for over 5 years. The prices were reasonable and the customer service was good, although they could benefit from hiring more staff to make the service faster - I had to wait about 30 minutes for my meal.
