The Carington Arms - Carta

The chef is apparently vegan, the food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable! I will definitely be returning!

Thought it’d be a lovely country pub but found no atmosphere and food barely average. We’ve been 3 times so have given it the benefit of the doubt but won’t be going back.

Came upon this lovely pub on a walk. Beautiful village and very nice inside the pub too. Quite busy with farmhands chatting when we arrived, so good atmosphere. Bar staff very friendly. Would recommend. Ver carta

Popped in to get a Sunday lunch but were told a large party was just being seated so there'd be a wait. As we didn't have time to wait, we drank our sodas in the garden and agreed to return at another, less busy time.

There are many gastro pubs in the area that serve delicious food, but the Carington Arms is not one of them. If you are in the mood for a simple burger and fries or fish and chips, it will do the job, but it's nothing extraordinary. Ver carta

Me and my very best friend came for Sunday lunch it was beaut the veg was perfect I don’t eat meat but they just put that on my friends plate we were stuffed but still managed a choc fudge cake which was amazing!!
