"First time visit here. And my wife and I both had a wonderful evening. We had booked the previous week, but it wasn't necessary on this Saturday evening as there were one or two empty tables scattered around. Before we ordered food we had a few drinks. A nice selection of beers, wines and spirits were available. The menu is comprehensive with plenty to choose from. Prices are reasonable. When we eventually ordered, we didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive. It was very nicely presented, hot, tasty and the portion sizes were large. Other pubs take note! The staff were superb. Very friendly and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. The pub itself is nice. The large open fire would be wonderful on colder evenings! A huge garden and decking area looks out over the countryside. Very impressive. There is also a large carpark. Two minor points, first impressions are spoilt very slightly by letters missing off the pub name. It makes the pub look slightly uncared for and rough around the edges, which, once you enter the building you realise is far from the truth! And also the gents toilets could do with a bit of TLC. There was a huge hole in the wall that looks like somebody had been at it with a sledgehammer! Minor stuff I know, and it certainly doesn't detract from what was a lovely evening out. Visit Castell Y Bwch. You'll not be disappointed!"

Me and my partner, had a lunch here and between us we had fish and chips and myself had a steak. Every mouthful was delicious and the staff, welcoming and very helpful. We cannot wait to come again.

Had a really lovely afternoon here. The food was very good and the staff were friendly and polite. It was very Christmassy with all the decorations and of course the beautiful views from the windows. Will definitely be coming back!

Afternoon tea was so delicious. I went with my mum and nan for a early mothers day treat. There was more than enough food and all freshly made. The staff decorated the table lovely and they were also very attentive. Amazing customer service and great atmosphere. Thank you.

Had an amazing time! Staff was incredibly friendly and lovely to chat with. Meals were great, heavily recommend the Beef Lasagne and the Viking Gammon! Food was a bit slow, but the staff were friendly and apologetic and explained what was going on. We didn't mind as we were enjoying ourselves with the great cocktails they serve!

good food and the lady serving us is great. my daughter asked how big mushroom slices in Mushroom and Cranberry roast nuts on the menu as she doesn't like mushroom and this super nice lady even offered to show the raw prep mushroom this is awesome service. thank you . big parking space and best of all no kids running around whilst you're eating. the family dining in with toddlers and children are well behave. the staff are nice too.
