Was looking forward to ordering a deli platter of cured meats and cheeses (as advertised on the website) but it was not available on our visit and the bar staff didn’t seem to know about it.

Best flavoured gin tonic i’ve ever tried, however, service was unfortunately not good. It said on google venue closes at 22, however by 20:45, the staff were already telling us to leave and very impatient.

There was a pub quiz on. Which would have been fine if we had known prior. We were talking amongst ourselves and the noise from the tables made it hard to hear each other. It may be an idea to update it on here that there would be a quiz on. Ver carta

We had a cracking time celebrating my wife's birthday – she loves gin! Our guide was excellent. Sadly, I can't remember his name (we visited on 22/09/23 at 7pm), but he was enthusiastic, knowledgable, endearing and helpful. Overall, a wonderful time!

It’s a really lovely bar with great staff. It’s quiet and intimate. You can sit at the bar and chat with staff about gin. You can learn a lot about gin and the tasting experience is really good too. I wouldn’t call it a restaurant though limited bar snacks such as nuts available . However if you are looking for a quiet place to go for a drink in the city then this is great.

We had booked a table and arrived 15 minutes late because we got stuck in traffic. We tried to call to let them know but no telephone number was to be found anywhere. When we got there 1h before closing, the place was completely deserted and they told us that they had already closed the tab and couldn’t serve us anymore. Very disappointing since we had come all the way across town for nothing. Ver carta
