Excellent customer service. Very good value for money. A cream tea for 2 for £4.95. Delicious homade scones with cream and jam and big pot of tea enough for 4 cups of tea.

We accidentally stumbled upon this restaurant for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. I ordered a traditional English breakfast and it was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. My wife enjoyed her sandwich as well, which was also excellent.

My parents, my partner and I had a brilliant lunch meal out. The toasties were very well-filled and out of this world. Definitely the best in Newton Abbot! The service was polite, helpful and the help we received regarding a glass-related query was great. We can’t wait to come back soon! :

Excellent , busy cafe in the centre of this charming South Devon market town. Our meals were excellent (pancakes and ice cream! , the young staff here are hard working, switched on and extremely helpful. On a dismay weather day, a trip here was very enjoyable. Hi, if you find yourself in Newton Abbot, then I highly recommend that you pay a visit to the Clock Tower coffee shop. You will not be disappointed. The food, drinks and service is first class. It is incredibly excellent value for money. This is a gem in this Devon town. So do not wait head to the Clock Tower Coffee shop and see for yourself. 5* rating is as high as you can give, but it is worth more.

My wife and I went to this restaurant for a meal. We had to wait a long time just to be noticed, let alone served, and the restaurant was not even busy. The tables around us were dirty and not much effort was being made to clean them. One staff member seemed more interested in being outside on her phone and vaping, while another lady was doing her best to serve customers. The food was decent once it arrived. Providing good customer service is essential in the hospitality industry. Poor customer service can ruin a business in the end.

Our first visit today was a great success, after travelling down from east Devon and having shopped locally we needed some lunch, we have been to most of the other eateries in the area over the years and wanted to try something new. We were tempted in by the specials board outside and l ordered the Mediterranean lasagne, garlic bread and salad garnish with a side of fries as an extra, my wife had a breakfast and we shared a pot of tea. We were served at the table shortly after we sat down by polite, efficient young staff. The food was well cooked and presented, really tasty just as we had hoped.
