"we have eaten in the clubhouse all the time serve and always enjoyed it. it was our high-time anniversary, so we thought we were going to the “thanks clubhouse it Friday “ deal 3 courses with a glass wein for two. £55 when we arrive, we got a great welcome and shown on our table. the menus came, but no Friday menu. We waited a few minutes and had to ask for the Friday Deal menu. we heard that neighboring tables ask for the Friday menu. not surprising, as the main menu has become quite expensive. we felt that the staff was more than a bit involuntary to offer the right menu. When it arrived, we were surprised that the normal 3 choice per. the curs had been reduced to only 2 per course. the review of the clubhouse website, as I write, still shows 3 choices per curs. disappointment when we look forward to the muscheln as a coup d’état. we have asked to jump from the set menu, but was said “ that is not hoe it works “ the set menu choice we are all more expensive than the mush £11 chowder £13 and salat £12. we ordered our eating and enjoyed our stater and net. the desert was openly poor. when we asked about our bill, we were surprised to see £107. in that we had been charged for desert 2x£8.50, although it is included in the Friday deal. bs k came the bill. narrower inspection shower we had been charged for all our drinks, even if the Friday deal contained a glass wein. the bill went back to remove more £15. zip bill £77. there was no tipp that poor show clubhouse gave. if they put a deal on respect and hug him or don't do it"

Have just visited the Club House for Sunday lunch it was absolutely amazing the food , service friendly attentive staff and the wonderful location

the waiter didn't know what was on the menu and forgot the dinge. eating was basic, shameful and missing wrench items listed, being up on expensive

Wow, just wow! Thoroughly enjoyed breakfast, the smashed avocado was yummy and the sauce to die for. My partner enjoyed his crab benedict and son his traditional full english. Definitely recommend, can't wait to come again Ver carta

we made a drink and we did. the setting is fabulous. 5 to 6 is happy hour... and it made us very happy when one of the cocktails contained our favorite Cotswolds gin. young waitress was kind and chatting, like the young waitress we paid for the bill. highly recommended.

After a really good meal last year we expected the same yesterday and were sorely disappointed. My husbands scallops were cold and uninspiring. I had sardines that I found inedible . They were over cooked and dry. My husbands pollock was adequate. So discontent especially...when considering the price paid . I’m not sure what’s gone wrong but the quality is poor and the prices ridiculous. I can’t actually remember the last time I was unable to eat a meal I had ordered

We visited the Club House for Father’s Day around 3/4 years ago and it was AMAZING! The options were brilliant and so was the quality of every dish. We certainly felt the quality was worth the price. However, we visited this week and the options...for vegetarians was limited to one meal and the quality was not what was expected unfortunately, particularly for the price. If I’m being completely honest, it felt the quality of the vegetarian meal was extremely basic and something we could have made at home. It was a shame because we were very excited after our previous experience. We also found the options quite limited this time. Hopefully if we visit again in the future we will have the same... We came for Sunday lunch, a treat. My partner has a very (very) big appetite, seldom satisfied. He started with the smoked duck salad not his usual thing, salads and I had the Heritage tomato, basil and pomegranate salad. Both had a varied...selection of fresh, crisp leaves and herbs, beautifully presented. Next we both opted for the roasts short rib of beef, and belly pork and they were fantastic!! Both meats fell apart, succulent and delicious. The goose fat roasted potatoes were crispy and fluffy, with the most enormous Yorkshire puddings and a nice selection of vegetables. We had friends visiting us in the area for the first time since covid lockdown restrictions eased, so we were all looking forward to eating out and giving ourselves a treat. The Clubhouse was an obvious choice for a culinary treat, with all of...us very much looking forward to visiting. Staff were friendly, great cocktails (as always), felt the menu was a bit limited and noted the prices had gone up considerably and our food was good, but the entire evening was completely overshadowed by an extremely rowdy, loud, party of 6 adults, who clearly were having a whale of a time and felt entitled to treat the place as solely their own.
