"quirky venue this place is just as he says on the line. an old fashion barge converted for on board and on river banks. the menu is not long because the more galereed would not allow it, but the selection meets most needs of people. owner and youthful. the owner is very passionate about her caffe. I started with a huh laksa, beautiful when gently seasoned and had a baguette with breakfast ingredient inside. good speck herby sausage and i.e. my mint hot chocolate was very exhausting. my partner had healthier but also delicious food. the inner of the barge still seems very authentic. friendly chatty staff, would recommend."

"Staff were not very welcoming. Food wasn’t served until an hour after our booking time (we were a party of 12 and the only people in the restaurant for the first 45 mins, and only ordering breakfast) Three of the party ordered poached eggs and all of them we over cooked and completely hard. I assume this was because they tried to send all the food out together, but we would have appreciated the food better cooked and not served at the same time. Also the servings of sauce with some of the meals was very meagre. We didn’t bother sending the food back as we had waited so long and the occasion was a three year olds birthday and they were getting very restless. Not the usual standard of service or food we usual get from this chain, although it was our first time at this branch. We are here because frankie and bennys couldn’t take a booking at the same time. Next time we will return to frankie and bennys."

"Booked a table here Saturday 30th April. Very pleasantly surprised at the quality of food. Very nice a tasty. Young waitress was 100% on the ball. Didn't have to call or ask for a drink once. Every time we got near that stage she was at the table asking if we needed anything. All in all 10/10 on all aspects. Well done and thank you for a great evening. We will be coming back again."

"We decided to take the Yeoman up on their Burns night special. It was rather disappointing. There were a number of items that were not available, which ruled out several items on the set menu. The mains were ok, although the portions weren’t thought through. The server offered to correct it, but it was too late in the meal. The mains were overpriced for what you got. The desert was a real disappointment. We ordered Cranachan and were told there were no Raspberry’s. When it arrived the server owned up the chef hadn’t ever made it before. This was clear as it was just porridge with a strawberry on top. We weren’t charged for them in the end, but what the point of having a set menu if the chef can’t cook it. The service was very slow and we weren’t once asked for a drinks order. The manager was really nice and friendly, but that didn’t make up for what was a really disappointing meal."

"absolutely fantastic lunch for seven today. I love the personal. their attention and the level of the service was far superior, any other restaurant I was. that was delicious. we went to the lunch menu. a makrele and beetroot star, amazing sea roasts on maic with green beans followed by the best ever sticky toffee pudding....and I have some in my time I tasted many amazing options on the al a carte menu and will definitely be back. highly recommended. Thank you all."
